Q: Is there a coating or varnish on it or is pure bamboo? Ours came in the mail and the bottom of the tray looks shinier.

Comes apart
Originally, I thought this was wonderful!! But within about a month the joints started coming apart because they weren’t glued as far as I can tell so now it moves back-and-forth. Unfortunately, I have to give this a low rating.
