There are Game Nights on the third night of Tuesdays at the New Orleans Pride Center.I ordered the game because there are large numbers who attend.I discovered that there are cat lovers who play at the center. It is a fast fun game with groups.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to review and try this new party game called Exploding Kittens. It’s for ages 7 and up and you can play up to 10 players. The packaging is very well made and eye catching. Great box and pretty simple to hold the cards. Since we never played this before there was a learning curve for my family of 5 but it was pretty easy to learn and we all had a blast and it’s quite entertaining. It’s a great party game so the next I have game night I will for sure bring this out for my friends to play.

The idea is to not get an exploding kitten and who ever doesn’t get one wins the game. I think it’s similar to slap jack in some ways. the instructions are straightforward and easy to understand they also have a QR code that you can scan and watch a video on how to play. The cards are durable and I think it’s a game that I’ll have for years to come.

He doesn’t really care for card games but played with me so I could figure it out. I enjoy playing humor and strategy based card games with larger groups of people and this game will be perfect for that. I will definitely take it on our vacation with extended family. We always play card games in the evening. I’m also excited to teach my oldest granddaughter to play next year. She’s learning to read now. She’s not quite at the reading level to play this game but when she gets there I think she will love it and it will be a great tool to help her learn how to strategize.

The instructions are a little lengthy for an “easy” game and there’s a few cards that I’m still confused about after a couple rounds. Overall, I hope I get the hang of it because I do like the humor of it and my kids enjoy it as well.
