What May Be Happening: Excess Ink Flow: Wet erase markers use a liquid ink formula that is designed to bond to non-porous surfaces without easily wiping away. However, if stored horizontally or in warmer environments, the ink can sometimes collect near the tip and cause pooling or leakage. Fine Tip Sensitivity: Fine tips are more sensitive to pressure, and even slight over-application can result in over-inking, especially if the marker wasn’t recapped tightly between uses. Storage or Handling Issues: If the markers are stored tip-down or experience temperature fluctuations (e.g., near a window or heater), it can alter the ink pressure and result in leakage. Tips to Improve Use: Store horizontally in a cool, dry area to maintain consistent ink distribution. Gently shake or blot the tip on a paper towel before use if the ink appears pooled.
