Q: Is this magnetic / will it stick to a magnetic whiteboard?

submitted bystacie - 5 years agoA: Agreed. It may have a magnet in it somewhere, but it's not strong enough to actually stick to the whiteboard. I even have the same brand whiteboard.

Q: How and I wash this? I wiped off blue marker and now it leaves blue streaks everytime I use it.

A: Hi ewallace, This eraser can be cleaned with mild liquid dishwashing soap. Rinse with hose. Be careful to wash only the eraser part and let dry completely before using on the dry erase board. Thanks! Jordan

Not magnetic at all? Okay as an eraser but I don’t understand how it is advertised as magnetic. I even held a magnet to it to see if it would repel or attract - nothing.

I had one and loved it. When it wore out I ordered the exact same one. Unfortunately the new one wasn’t as strongly magnetic and slid off the whiteboard. Thinking it was a fluke I ordered another, but it also doesn’t hold. Seems a change has been made.

I bought this because right on the front of the packaging, the label says "Strong Magnet" and it had a nice and clean look for my office dry erase board. I had to cut open the packaging (so now I can't return it) and tested it out. It does NOT hold any metal or magnetic surface. I've tried it on the dry erase board, a fridge, metal filing cabinet. It does not stick to anything! It erases just fine, but does not serve the purpose for which I bought it for.

Magnet isn't strong enough to stay on the board, which is the same brand. It's also probably a little bigger than we need. But for less than $2, it wasn't worth returning. So we made it work by putting magnetic strips on the other side and putting it on backwards.
