[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried these would be like pastels and messy but they have as much transfer as crayons, maybe a little bit more. They’re also water-soluble which is great for kids in case they make a mess. They’re very creamy, vibrant, and opaque. I wish where were more examples of how to use the sponge and brush.

This blends easily with either my finger, the 2 included blending tools or the brush. Either blending method worked the water soluble colors very easily and smoothly. I used the color sticks on paper and fabric, but I love it that the sticks are also perfect for ceramics, cardboard, or wood.

This set comes with a clear storage case, 2 blending tools and 1 paintbrush. The carry case makes it easy to carry and keep organized. They work good for mixed media crafts. Easy to use. Very happy!

I do like using them more with water but my son prefers using them without. They provide such vibrant color and blend beautifully into any work of art.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it that this Faber-Castell Gelatos 15-piece set offer me a variety of mediums to utlize them on and I'm not pigeonholed with the color sticks. This set includes the 12 vibrant colors of limoncello, lime, passion fruit, margarita mix, mango, orange soda, lavender, lemon, bubble gum, boysenberry, snowcone, and red cherry which were easily blended (dry or wet) with either my finger, the 2 included blending tools or the brush. Either blending method worked the water soluable colors very easily and smoothly. I used the color sticks on paper and fabric, but I love it that the sticks are also pefect for ceramics, cardboard, or wood as well as my tween and spouse love to use colors as well in their projects. The possibilities of the easy color blending and palette ensure that no two projects are alike, and I find the convenience of being able to blend the colors easily creates timeless and one of a kind pieces and projects. The color sticks are no bigger than a tube of lipstick and store easily in my crafting drawer. Love these bright and vibrant colors just in time for spring!
