FAO Schwarz 22" Toy Plush Lying Golden Retriever Stuffed Animal

Very soft

My son loves this dog. This dog started shedding terribly to the point that I was worried about my son inhaling the fur or it getting in his mouth while he was sleeping. All my son had to do was give it a hug and he would be coated in fur. I could lightly pinch any area of the dog and clumps of fur would fall out. From reading other reviews this is a common problem. I wanted a non defective dog to replace this one because my son is so attached to it and was told that since we are out of the return window they won’t do anything. Target does not care that they are selling defective products that endanger kids. SHAME ON YOU TARGET!

After 3 months the dog started shedding. Target isn’t willing to do anything. Very dissatisfied. I would give it 0 stars but it won’t let me submit my review without giving it 1 star.

We bought for our kid as she LOVES DOGS since we can't have a pet because she is allergic to the fur, we got this dog doll. I REGRET BUYING IT. THOUGH ITS CUTE IT SHEDS FUR LIKE REAL DOG, my kids tshirt will be full of fine fur filaments she starts sneezing suddenly. I'm sooo scared it shouldn't trigger her allergic reaction and wheezing. She doesn't want to return it but I can't let me kid risk her life. I am trying to attach pics but for some reason they are not getting attached. It's a total waste of money. If customer service can help me to return it it really helps. It sheds in bunch.

I got the golden retriever stuffed animal for my golden retriever, and it’s his favorite toy out of all 20 different toys he has. So cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FAO Swartz Red Panda stuffy is so adorable. The stuffed animal is very high quality as it has some weight to it and the features are very detailed. The stitching is perfect, and there are no chemical smells. The tags and packaging are also stunning. It is the perfect size for little ones to cuddle with at night. Highly recommend.

The golden retriever is adorable and my daughter loves it, but good lord this thing sheds like crazy. I’m wearing a black shirt today and this is what it looks like after coming in contact with the dog. I’ve tried using a lint roller, packing tape, and just pulling out tufts with my hands, and it’s still coming off. This thing might shed until it’s bald. Had it for about two months and shows no signs of stopping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year old was so excited to get this. She said it’s so soft and snuggly. She sleeps with it every night and sometimes uses it as a pillow. 10/10. (I let her give us the review)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is sooooo soft! It feels very well made and luxurious. My kids love it because it is a nice cuddly size and so soft to touch. It also looks like my black cat and is about the same size as him. It is not heavy but also not super lightweight, i think it is perfectly weighted. The distribution of weight is even too. It feels nice quality, has not had any fur come out or any weird smells.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this isn’t a dog toy, Nala has taken “little Nala” as her own. This toy is soft enough that it’s a comfortable plush, yet has weight to it for long lasting use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was incentivized by Influenster and FAO Schwartz with this complimentary item in exchange for my honest review. This plush toy dog is lifelike and very cute. Immediately after unpacking it and taking it out of the plastic bag, white fluff and strands started to fly everywhere. I gave a slight tug against the toy itself to see if it would come off in my hand and it definitely did. I did not pull hard, it came off on its own. To be fair, real dogs shed too so this is very realistic. The dog is not designed to do much other than sit stationary but it bends in every direction possible and can be held tightly if someone needs comfort. There is a strange metal button on the rear left leg of the dog that says FAO which seems unnecessary and I would hate for a small child to bite down on that and try to swallow it. With the shedding fur and potential button coming off, I would not recommend this toy for small children.

My boyfriend LOVED IT!!! Also loved how it comes with an adoption certificate that is blank so you can fill it out!!! And a lot more in such a little envelope!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old loves this plushy! She goes to sleep with it every night and loves how cuddly it is. I choose the non traditional animal a capybara! It helps her sleep at night and definitely love that you can wash it.

my little guy loves this stuffy. super soft and nice weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a cute toy plush that is a collectible . It’s well made , stitching is good and the shape of the dog was really good. Only thing I didn’t like was the mini balls to stuff the toy.
