Cute for a few times, but that's it.
This looked cool, and I was able to pick it up on clearance for $6 but it's really a one and done kind of toy. We used marbles in ours but after a few runs, it's not very fun anymore. It would definitely be more usable for a long time if you use gumballs like you are supposed to. The excitement still wears off quickly even then.

Not good :(
This is the curtest toy but I should have listened to the reviews :( gumballs definitely all get stuck and nearly impossible to get out. We’ll be returning unfortunately. It was a birthday gift for our son and he was so bummed.

Eh, it was a gift. Wouldn't buy it myself.
*this was a gift 2 years ago to my daughter* While it was and still is played with today, it’s a pain in the butt….some gumballs get stuck in the lower part of the top container and essentially are just *there*. I would recommend the double bubble gumballs, they seem to work the best.

Needs gum balls
This toy while vibrant in colors is not very practical for a child to use it is small and does it bring any gum balls. I returned it for store credit because it was just there taking up space. For $20 and from FAO it should have brought the materials it needs to work .

Read if you are torn between this & the Vending Machine
My daughter asked for a candy machine & gum ball’s for Christmas. I almost got the red vending machine but got his one instead. She’s 10 and wasn’t really into it. I thought the design would have a wow factor but she said she felt like she was going to break it because the lever seems like it could snap easily, and it was hard to get the gum balls to land properly so they could go down the tubes. I think a younger child would love the design but have a hard time actually using it. In hindsight I would have purchased the red vending machine and bought candy to refill the prize balls. If you are torn too hope this helps.

Awesome look for a display
I'm giving 5 stars because I bought this for more of a display then I did the functionality. I really think this is an awesome piece to show off. I wouldn't recommend it though for kids, that lever you have to push down I feel is so sensitive, I let me nephews try it out and they literally yanked it down so hard I thought it was going to break, kids will have the tendency to push it down as far as it will go, but to display in my kawaii art room, it's perfect

Garbage
If I could give it zero stars I would. A complete waste of money. The gumballs constantly bounce out and onto the floor. The lever to pop the gum up rarely works. Terrible design. Save your money & get something else.

Cute Design Easy to use endless entertainment
Huge hit with my 6 and 5 year old. They think it’s awesome to watch the gumball dropdown. Gum is a whole new concept to them so they think getting a gumball is just amazing. Cute design. Highly recommend. I could see slightly older ages being bored by it.

Really bad
Super cute and love the colors. The design is god awful though. The lever doesn’t push it high enough, balls get stuck on some of the turns, we already had a piece break off and they got it yesterday. I would be so mad if I paid full price but thankfully we got it on clearance for $9. Still wouldn’t have paid that if I knew all of the negatives.

Cheap design
This is cute to look at, but that’s it. Smaller kids won’t be able to pull the “lever” that gets the gumball out. Bigger kids will udoubtedly break the lever. It is made of plastic and you are bending the plastic back (think of a pinball machine) to launch the gum ball every time. It bends and then it breaks.

Fun and Long-Lasting
We’ve had this gumball machine for almost a year and my 6 and 4 years olds still use it multiple times per week. There is one little button that launches the gum (I’m pretty sure it’s the part that all the reviews are complaining about) that can be a bit tricky. You have to generate the right amount of force to shoot it up: some days one of my kids gets it just right, and some days the other one does. It’s a challenge, but I don’t think it’s a flaw.
