Description
This versatile Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts is super-resourceful and easy to handle, and eliminates the hassle of dirtying a separate strainer or colander. Farberware has been trusted for over 100 years, and this straining saucepan continues that tradition for a new generation. A full cap base featuring a thick aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel provides rapid, even heating, whether boiling carrots or whisking milk gravy. Heavy-duty stainless steel is polished to a mirror finish for a classic touch. For covered cooking, rotate the self-basting lid to close the holes so heat and moisture stay inside the pan. To strain, simply align the lid's holes with the pan's pour spouts. The comfortable handle with iconic styling provides a confident grasp, making it easy to pour hot beef stock into a bowl or strain water from boiled potatoes. This straining saucepan is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 350 degrees F, and it makes an excellent companion piece to any Farberware collections cookware set. Find modern convenience and timeless style in this Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts.

Pot Smaller than a 2 Quart
Very disappointed! I have been buying Farberware 2 Quart pot with cover for over 20 years. The description on line indicates 2 quart, but when I removed the wrapping, I immediately noticed it was smaller than my current 2 quart FW pot. The new pot measures 6 inches across the top. My former pot measures 7 inches across. Customers do not mind paying a little more to receive what they ordered and what was indicated in the description!

Absolutely Great Cookware!
I have owned a set of Farberware cookware for more than 50 years and it is still going strong. I have the 1, 2 and 3-quart saucepans, plus the butter warmer, 5-quart saucepot, the 6-quart saucepot, and the 8-quart saucepot and a couple of other miscellaneous pieces. This is one great set of cookware. They have survived burned-on food many times and the pans still look like they did 50+ years ago. I have purchased other brands of pots and pans over the years, but most of them are long gone. I'll stick with my Farberware, thank you very much. The only problems I've ever had is the handles of the saucepans keep coming loose and I have to keep tightening them with a screwdriver. Wish there was an easy fix for that!

Dependable and Affordable
My first set of Farberware lasted 50! I replaced 4 pieces recently only because the bottoms had gotten rough and I thought they might damage my smooth top stove. Otherwise, they were in great shape! They'd work perfectly on a gas stove, so I donated them to a local thrift shop. I'm glad that someone will be using these great pans for many years too.

Love my Farberware!
I’ve had Farberware pots and pans since I got married in 1967. I finally ruined a 3qt. Pot a couple weeks ago and had to get a new one. I love it and have used it several times already. Farberware is a good company and has quality merchandise.

I have older Farberware pans
I have older Farberware pans that I like better. They have larger thicker handles for better grip, and lids that fit better. They are the real classic Farberware for better cooking, not the latest ones I just bought.

Best pans ever.
I have loved Farberware since the 80’s when I started cooking with my mom’s pans. Beautiful cookware and they maintain an even temperature. I still have some of my older pans and my daughter was gifted a set when she got her own place. I’m still adding to her collection.
