Description
Heat, boil, strain and pour favorite foods and sauces with this versatile Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 3-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts. Farberware has been trusted for over 100 years, and this straining saucepan continues that tradition for a new generation. A full cap base featuring a thick aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel provides rapid, even heating, and the heavy-duty stainless steel exterior is polished to a mirror finish for a classic touch. For covered cooking, rotate the self-basting lid to close the holes so heat and moisture stay inside the pan. To strain, simply align the lid's holes with the pan's pour spouts. One side of the saucepan has a shallow, wide spout perfect for straining small items like orzo pasta or baby peas. The other side has a deep, narrow spout ideal for straining bow tie pasta or new potatoes. A comfortable, strong handle provides a confident grasp, making it easy to pour turkey gravy into a serving vessel during the holidays. This straining saucepan also is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 350 degrees F, just like all the quality pots and pans in the Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel collection. Save time when cooking, straining and pouring using this convenient Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 3-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts.

Summary of reviews
The Farberware stainless steel saucepan is praised for its durability, perfect size for small portions, and convenient straining lid. Guests appreciate its lightweight design, easy cleanup, and cool-to-touch handles. However, some have noted that the newer models are thinner and the handle may loosen over time. Overall, it is a reliable addition to any kitchen, especially for everyday use.

I used this pot once and cleaned it. Small amounts of the interior flaked off. I used a non-scratch pad. Good size pot and a nice handle.

I have used these for many years, but recently the lids have gotten lost (no idea how). New pots are almost identical, although the metal is a little thinner. I didn't realize how small a one-quart pot is; I don't think I will be using that one very much. But the bigger one is just fine.

This is the perfect pan to cook up some summer squash in, or heat up some soup. The new straining feature will make draining easy, & no extra things to wash.

I bought this set over 30 years ago, The 3 qt pot had a loose handle which I continued to tighten for several years but finally decieded it was no longer worth the risk as it no longer remained tight for a dozen uses.
Not like it used to be

Disappointed - 9 months ago, Verified purchaser
I bought my first set of Farberware pots as a newlywed quite a long time ago. I was surprised and disappointed at how this the stainless steel is in these pots. It is nothing like the originals. I'm giving it 2 stars for the pour spot. Otherwise, my rating would have been lower. That is a handy feature.

l;ve always enjoyed using my Classic Farberware set and when i noticed they offer a 1 qt & 3 qt pan with a straining lid, I decide to make room. I love the size and the strainer as part of the lid is wonderful. My only concerrn os tje bottom of my pan is very difficult to clean. It leaves residue at the bottom and sometimes has a colored sheen.

I have used Farberware products for 50 years. My mother also used Farberware products. I thought adding the saucepan with straining lid would be great. Well, it has been a disappointment. It's more than a month since I placed my order for 6 items and still I am missing the 11x17 cookie sheet. Your automated system for Customer Service is less than brilliant and truly sucks. I have yet to speak to a human concerning this issue. Your shipping department needs some guidance i.e. include all the pieces and explain missing items with a packing list.
