This package does not contain a PLUG. Regarding the two different colors, that signifies the fact that each bottle's fragrance is slightly different; this is done to help your nose continue to experience the fragrance. These complementary fragrances help you continuously enjoy the scent of apple cider. If they were both the same, your nose could start to stop recognizing the fragrance.

TOO INTENSE!
WAY too intense. I bought this because it has an adjustable intensity feature. I put it on the lowest setting near the dog's bed. It is just too much! My husband can't stand it, either. And it's not the scent, it's the overpowering of the scent. Can this be fixed?

Buy at your own risk smells sickly sythetic sweet chemical apple.
It has a synthetic sweet apple smell. Under $5 an Oz. When the cartridge need a refill buy the good and gather oil diffuser refill at $17 use a dropper to refill the cartridge.
