It's rare to find a couch with only 30" depth that doesn't look silly. This serves that purpose. The (beige) fabric does not look cheap. The legs are a warmer, lighter brown than I'd hoped, but I may fix that. It took me 40 minutes to put it together while waiting for the big strong man. You can do this on your own if you open the box where they left it outside and carry in the pieces. Press the side up against a wall and use cushions in the middle to slide the back piece in, and it's a one-woman job. I'm 5' 9" 130 pounds and can lift about 35 pounds on my own. Sometimes I feel like a giant on dorm-style furniture, but I can comfortably sit on this, and with the end pillows moved, I can lie down with my knees very slightly bent. Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but I'm really happy with it. Quality comprable to Iower end IKEA or Wayfear.
