Why is this product black? Because it has FD&C Blue #1 and FD&C Yellow #6. No thanks. What a waste of money. I just threw 2 bottles out. Why would you think I need more food coloring in my body when I am taking this for my health?

This is the form of iron that was recommended to me by my doctor. This iron is well absorbed by the body . The packaging is very convenient and the capsules themselves are small

I have been looking for a reliable iron supplement meant because I have a multivitamin that doesn’t include it and I was told by my doctor that I needed to add it into my regimen. The pills are small enough to swallow and are easy to take. I have two in my hand for size, but one is the serving size. I would have to review bloodwork to know exactly how they are working, but I imagine that they will work just fine.

I would say it’s effective but I will find out when I get my blood work back. It’s not expensive so it’s a bang for your buck. The smell is not the greatest and definitely couldn’t take it with water so use a juice to cover the taste. But it seems to help me daily.

For the first two weeks, I was taking it in the morning after breakfast and would feel a little nauseous. I got advice (thanks social media) to take it an hour before or after eating anything and the past two weeks focusing that way have been great - helps a ton with energy levels.
