Q: what does it taste like? Is it cheddar flavor or mozzarella?
A: It's like a very mild swiss or provolone. It is actually my fav fake cheese because it's not overly nutritional-yeast flavored. I hate nutritional yeast!
submitted byMetalMommy - 3 years agoA: This cheese still has a mild swiss, muenster flavor. I like the way it melts in hot noodles, add a dash of plant milk, some turmeric, smoked paprika, garlic powder and you got a nice side dish!

Q: Why does this product have zero protein if it is made with tofu?
A: If an item has 0.5g of protein per serving or less, it can be listed as 0g on the Nutritional Facts Panel according to FDA guidelines. The tofu we use has a unique and complex flavor that gives our Chao Creamery products their distinctive taste! Because the Tofu in Chao has such a strong flavor, only a small amount is needed to bring the right amount of flavor to our products.
