More Ube Please.
This was a hit, not a miss. Some Ube products try too hard and end up being disappointing. But this yam spread is light in flavor and has a good taste, even with the coconut. It’s not too sweet, which I personally prefer. So far, I’ve only used it on bread.

Made by Filipinos but not for Filipinos. IYKYK. There is no reason to get this if you live somewhere close to a Filipino market or an Asian market that carries Filipino food. This stuff is terrible and tastes like coconut.

The flavor and texture are great. But, if the paste and the coconut milk are supposed to be blended, they're not. And, no amount of kneading or warming, or even shaking, will make them mix. I settled on warming the packet and laying it on its side so the conconut milk would even out as it solidified. Another option would have been to empty the contents into a bowl and use an immersion mixer. Can this be improved upon?

True, the packaging is not great. I can't tell you how long I kneaded and shook this only to have coconut oil come out first.. but I was mixing it in rice crispy treats so I didn't really care.. it added the best coconutty ube goodness to my treats!! Just cut down on butter since there was oil in this, but they came out great! Would try again to add to cookies or brownies for sure.

Per instructions kneading is necessary before opening. Kneaded for 10 min between three of us but contents were still very separated. Emptied into glass container and mixed a few more min but still very oily and seperated. Color is not an attractive purple looks greyish. Flavor is not good. Would not recommend.

Warm bath not convenient
I love that this product is vegan and the flavor is decent. Because it’s made with coconut oil, it becomes solid when placed in the fridge. Having to place the pouch in a warm bath in order to squeeze product out is less than ideal.

I returned the item. Barely any ube taste and barely any purple color. It was more of coconut and coconut oil. The packaging is meant to make mixing easier, but with this product being so oily, a jar would have been better. Skip this purchase.

Divine coconut
Knead well!! Or else you’ll get a bit of white product without the purple. As soon as i needed more the product mixed together just fine. Appreciate the texture of the flecks of coconut and the surprisingly low sugar content for a sweet spread. Tried two spoonfuls mixed into my morning coffee and it was lovely and melted easily.

Hate the packaging.
It was ok. It should have been in a jar cause this contained so much oil. The first squeeze was a bunch of oil when I kneaded the package. If it was in a jar I would of been able to mix the oil separation.

Great ube
The Ube flavor was really tasty and I liked the creaminess. Only thing is that it kind of melted from shipping and the coconut oil separated, but I just kneaded the package a bit and it was fine.

change the packaging
i love this product absolutely delicious but the packaging is the pits (that is the reason for the 4 stars). please please reconsider the packaging i do not want to knead the product and if you do not cut open the pouch at the end you are throwing away a bunch of product
