Your Filtrete™ Filter will also capture large particles, including lint, pollen and household dust. This filter is also CERTIFIED asthma and allergy-friendly® (2). Use a 3-month pleated 1-inch home HVAC filter in your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system. For optimal performance of your heating and cooling system or HVAC system, change your furnace filter at least every 90 days. Q: does this product contain fiberglass?

A: The site says Material: Polypropylene. I just bought them yesterday and I made mask filters out of them. I made sure to remove the metal first then cut them up into filter strips (that fit my mask) and I put the rest in zip lock baggies.

Q: Theres an arrow on both of the long side of the filter. It looks like the filter is interchangeable as to which side should face the furnace. Is that correct? PLEASE don't answer with it's technical

It showed up bent and busted. It’s not a good idea to send something like an air filter in a flimsy package. Put it in a box. Had to return and won’t buy filters from target again, unless in person.

My mother in law has been a long time customer of this brand of air filters. They offer mo customer satisfaction because Filtrate doesn't make it easy to speak to a capable customer service representative. Shameful when long time customers have no access to a decent customer service. I have switched to Honeywell because it is an America product with a great reputation. Customers want to feel appreciated. Not taken for granted.

Go-to filter. I change mine every 2-3 months, works well. Might decide to upgrade to 1900 just because of the smells my basement creates. Usually a tight fit, but it will do the job. Price is a little high, but everything is expensive now.

I need a 18x20x1 1900 filter but Filtrete doesn't make one, settled for a 1500 but not satisfied. Found an Aerostar filter and an evaluating it, but would prefer Filterate for good quality control and honest rating assessment.

This filter works perfectly and you can tell the change almost instantaneously; especially since I’m an allergy sufferer. I can breathe freely in my own home. This filter lasted us about 4-6 mos. Nice change for us but it’s so worth it if you suffer from any kind of air allergy or dander.
