Q: Does the 16x25x4 size include 1 filter or 2? The second photo clearly says 2 filters on the package but it does not indicate 2 filters anywhere in the product description.

A: It contains only one filter, despite one of the pictures showing "2 pack". That picture is misleading and should be removed.

A: You could look up the Model of the furnace and probably find the right size. If that doesn't work, you could measure the width of opening where the filter goes in. You could probably tell the difference without measuring between 1" and 4".

I use these in place of regular HVAC filters. The 4" depth adds surface are which reduces air flow resistance. My home systems for people with breathing problems includes multiple 20 x 20 x 4 inch filters. My 2400 sq ft home has 5 filters. The efficiency of the HVAC system is not degraded yet the air is best for sufferers of breathing problems such as asthma, RADS, or allergies.

Space between rails in Lennox furnace for their 5” filter is only 4 7/16”. The filtrete 5” filter is 4 11/16” thick. Going to try filtrete 4” filter that is 4.31” thick.

This filter equates to a MERV 12. I find that this lasts about 6 months. Cantion: Do not use an ultrasonic atomizer humidifier as this filter will clog in about 2 to 3 weeks.

First two both said they were locked and I need to contact service. I didn’t want the hustle. Then it paired. A month later I checked it and not working again. Pulled the filter. It needed changing. Like first onr it wouldn’t pair. I am technically advanced. It should not be complicated. The online account only wanted my email, no password. I don’t like that. Good idea that has more work needed

My 16"X25"X5" filter was 4 7/8 thick. It was about 1/2" too thick for my particular venting. Be sure to measure your filter box before ordering...........

I bought three of these from Target because of gift cards. They were all too big to get in and out.The last one I took out, I had to use two screwdrivers and needlenose pliers to get out. I tore it to pieces getting it out? Emailed Honeywell three times to tell them they had issues with this product. No satisfaction. I purchased a different brand much cheaper that went in perfectly. The other company might want to feed their families?
