The First Alert EZ Fire Spray Fire Extinguishing Aerosol Spray is easier to use than traditional fire extinguishers and discharges 4 times longer than regular extinguishers, making it ideal for fighting common household fires and providing 32 seconds of discharge to ensure the fire is out. The nozzle sprays a wide area, giving you greater control to put out a fire faster. It defintely works
It works. I’ve had it for a year and never had to use it. Recently, I was microwaving chicken on a plate from the dollar tree. It was a decorated paper plate. The gold trim on the plate caught on fire after 30 seconds in the microwave. I grabbed the can, took off the top, and sprayed. I removed it from the microwave and set it down and the fire didn’t go completely out so it started to light up again and I quickly sprayed it again and it was out completely. I didn’t have to think and stumble to the fire extinguisher. That was the best part. I’m getting a few more to have in the house.

Works quickly - get one
We’ve kept this under our sink ‘just in case’… had a small kitchen fire today. An oven mitt caught on fire while we were cooking, and we didn’t notice right away. Reached for the can, and it immediately put out the fire. Not a huge mess to clean up, either. Very grateful. Recommending this to my family… Great size, great price, effective.

Works! Get it!
I had a small fire inside my oven. Grabbed this and sprayed. Fire went out but started again. Sprayed it again and it was completely extinguished. Easy to clean up the residue. Buying one for everyone I care about.

Peace of mind in a can
I haven't used the spray yet but after a recent incident in which my parchment paper caught fire in my oven, I knew I needed it since I'm not going to make a fire extinguisher mess unless I absolutely have to. This can fits under my sink and is easily accessible for small fires. I know a young family who is still recovering after a small kitchen fire got big quickly, so I got both this product and a new extinguisher, just in case...

brief shelf life
This fire extinguisher is good for under five years. Its expiration is Dec., 2027. I have previously bought home use extinguishers which were good for ten years.

This actually works!
My grandmother, 84 years old, needed to use this when her oven caught on fire from grease. She claimed she would never need this when we bought it for her but we are so lucky she had it in the house. As soon as she saw the fire she was able to quickly figure out how to use the spray and put out the fire completely, using almost the entire can. Compared to a fire extinguisher this is a much easier option to figure out under stress and we will always keep a couple cans on hand from now on! Thank you First Alert!

A Kitchen Must Have!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom, I have safety first in my mind. A fire extinguisher is an item you need, but hope to never use. I equipped my kitchen with the First Alert EZ Fire Spray because I have limited space and it would fit easily on a shelf. The dreaded event occurred, I set a plate with paper towel on it too close to an active burner. Before I knew it, my fries were getting extra crispy in the fiery plate. I grabbed the EZ Fire Spray and within seconds it had put out the flames! I am so thankful that it was there when I needed it and cleaning up was easier than I ever would have thought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the EZ Fire Extinguishing Aerosol Spray to Test and Review. This a great size to keep in the kitchen cupboard or office. This Fire Spray can be used on Grease, Fabric, in Trash Cans or Small Electrical Fires. I like how it's an aerosol can - so all you do is press and spray at the fire. This is intended for small fires only. The clean-up is safe and easy to do no special clean-up equipment or supplies. These little cans keep for up to 5 years before they expire. I like that First Alert keeps coming up with innovative products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this product stored under my kitchen sink. I was very excited to have this on hand in case of an emergency. It is very lightweight and will store easy. I hope that we don’t have to use it anytime soon but I highly recommend everyone having something like this on hand in case of an emergency. If you don’t already have the first alert EZ fire extinguisher spray again I highly recommend everyone having this. Also, teach the kids how to use something like this for id there is ever an emergency situation they are fully prepared as well.

Safety First!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just started a camper van conversion and needed to be prepared for anything. I opted for this aerosol fire extinguisher to save space. I can keep it securely in the map pocket of the front door for easy access in any situation. I love that since of being covered in the case of a emergency. We will be able to camp and have campfires and still feel the safety factor is covered. I may opt to purchase more since it is so easy to store without really utilizing any of our needed space in such a small area.

The small size is perfect to have it stored under the sink while not taking up too much space and being right where you need it. The directions are easy to follow which is always a plus. I also appreciate that it is very easy to tell what it is based on colors and design so there should no confusing it for another type of aerosol spray. I also like that is able to be used on various kinds of fires so you don't need to have multiple fire extinguishers in room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This extinguisher would make a good gift. Luckily I have not had need to use this extinguisher and hope to never have to. It is very comforting to have on hand should the need arise. It will be much easier and faster to get to than a traditional fire extinguisher. My only issue is the coloring of the can. The spray can is also the same size, shape, and color nonstick cooking sprays found in most kitchens. Perhaps if it were all red with a large picture of flames it would be easier to quickly identify in an emergency.
