A: If it's still in the package then it's in the store demo/try-me mode. The power switch is on the back of the toy by the battery box.

As I do not live close to my grandson, I sometimes order Christmas gifts online. I ordered this item from Target online as it looked and sounded quite impressive. When I went to visited my family last week, I was not only disappointed in this toy but I was embarrassed! What a waste of money and now I feel I need to buy my grandson something else as a present. Do not waste your money on this toy; after about 5 minutes, they will be bored with it; I'm sorry I wasted my chance to have a special gift waiting under the tree for my grandson.
