[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sower is great. ergonomically, it conforms to my hand really well which makes the work that much easier on my hands. It’s kind of become my gardening multifunction tool. It’s the perfect size for digging out little wells, I love that it has the measurements on the front and back for spacing accuracy (1-4” at 1/4” increments), and I love the removable piece that I can use for spacing while digging a new well. I have only used this guy with my seedlings and garden soil, but it is so strong that I think I will be able to use it to dig into our clay soil when I plant some tulip bulbs this fall. It feels like plastic and it’s lightweight like plastic, but it’s incredibly heavy duty. It’s also nice knowing that it won’t rust. 10/10 would recommend!

I can measure between seeds and dig with it, I’ve used it for many different plants and it works perfectly. I love gardening and with this tool I can do so many things without the need for multiple tools. I highly recommend this over a bucket of different tools to carry around. It’s lightweight but heavy duty enough to dig and plant in dry soil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I have never bothered with a hand seed sower before, but the Fiskars - Hand Seed Sower is a handy dandy little thing. I was able to quickly dig a hole and, with the gauge on the sower itself, plant my seeds at the proper depth. Easy Peasy. I was a little concerned with it being plastic, but it is sturdy and I was able to dig into the hard clay soil we have here with no issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Hand Held Tool..It has a plastic blade which is nice but will not dig up hard dirt. When putting seeds in soft soil, it's perfect. It makes perfect small holes for your seeds. I've just started doing small planting and this tool makes it so much easier. For the price it's a must tool.

I am always looking for a small shovel to get into tight spaces, and even though this is marketed as a seed sower, it works fantastic for small space shovel needs. I like that it is narrow and allows me to get in between plants or into small pots. The handle is comfortable in my hand and it feels like it is a good quality tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this, tried it and love it! We used this last week to assist in planting our new Fall Flowers. Living in Florida, right now it's our rainy season and the soil is very wet on top and extreme moisture underneath which sometimes can cause problems with positioning your seeds and bulbs correctly. Not with this seed sower. It was very convenient to have, I simply dug my small holes and the seeds and bulbs slid right down the center and into the ground perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nifty little tool that has a guide for planting depth. Some plants will not grow unless they are correctly planted. Having a sharer digging end and wider at the top, it places the seed securely in the soil. The seed rolls down the tool to the perfect depth. The length of the tool acts as a guide for distance between plants when thinning. The rounded top is handy for loosening plants from the tray. I can see this tool working wonderfully on mound planting. This is going in my gardening bucket right away. I saw my daughter eyeing it earlier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this hand sower. It's made from a lightweight plastic-like material but it's really durable. So far, it's held up even better than some of my cheap metal trowels. It pretty much makes the perfect size hole for transplanting seedlings and the embossed guide on it makes it really easy to get accurate spacing without carrying extra tools along. The handle has an insert that pulls out and can be used for smaller seeds. I like to use the insert for counting and planting the really tiny seeds, like some lettuce. Maybe the best part is that when I'm done using it, all I have to do is hose it off and let it air dry. Overall, it's been great and I've enjoyed it even more than I thought I would

Its one of those gadgets that you didn't know you needed but deep enoughonce you have it you wondered how you managed without it. First its made by FISKARS - which makes very durable products. Thus it comes with a full lifetime warranty. I love the inch measurements in the shovel. Takes the guess work out of how deep to dig when planting seeds. This tool is marketed for seeds and that's all I've used it for so far but I think Ill give it a try when I plant my bulbs this fall.

It saved me a world of time being able to puncture through the soil easy and know my depth all at the same time. Measuring between seeding a breeze too with the measuring added to it.
