Fitbit Luxe Metal Mesh Band Stainless Steel Band - Platinum

Beautiful, but very poorly designed. I should have heeded all of the bad reviews, but I took a chance on it strictly for its aesthetic appeal. The clasp is held in place by a powerful magnet, which is great. Unfortunately, the same powerful magnet is on the exterior side too. It stuck to any and all things of metal, including refrigerator, dog’s collar, and restaurant patio tables/chairs. I was accustomed to it coming off, so I didn’t noticed the recurrence while we dined al fresco. No one found it apparently or someone didn’t turn it in when they found it. $200+ down the drain. Definitely a hard pass on this purchase if you’re considering it.

This band is useless. I had it for less than a week and it fell off my wrist because the clasp it is merely a magnet and near melt of any kind it falls off. I wrote to Fitbit and what was more disturbing than losing my tracker, they did not respond.

This band is beautiful, but very inconvenient. The magnet is so strong that it catches on everything metal. I mean everything. I have had my Fitbit fly off my wrist because of metal doors, filing cabinets, even the magnets in my laptop! It’s so pretty and looks so professional, but the magnet makes it fall off my wrist multiple times a day. Not worth $80.

I love this band, but the clasp is just two magnets stuck together. The band slips off at every opportunity that it touches metal - near your refrigerator, your car door, and lots of other places. My fitbit fell onto the concrete floor of a parking garage, and the face cracked. Right now, I can't find it all because it fell off my wrist somewhere, and I can't find it. This is a huge design flaw.

Beautiful band and it looks great but (i) it broke for no apparent reason within 2 months of purchase; and (ii) the magnetic clasp sticks to any metal object close to your wrist, which means you will find your fitbit stuck to your pots, refrigerator, etc. Target's return policy for this item is only 30 days, but the store clerk kindly gave me store credit, as it was so close to date of purchase.
