Handle Does Not Last
We purchased this last year in 2024 for a 7th grader who is NOT rough with their supplies. By October, the handle broke. The main binder itself was in good shape, but it was too bulky for my kid to use without a handle along with carrying a laptop at school. This year, we're getting a different brand elsewhere that has a shoulder strap. Target does not have many options in store beyond this poor quality binder again, and online, the prices for other better quality options are lower priced elsewhere.

I have something to add to "the handle broke"
I was irritated at my poor kid for breaking the handle on this binder a few weeks into school, he told me a few other kids in his class had the same issue...likely story. Until I read these reviews and realized his actually lasted longer than a few days so he was probably VERY careful with it and this binder is just a piece of trash. What I have to add is-- I contacted Mead customer service, they will send you a replacment piece of trash if you have all your information from the purchase, fill out a request form, offer no appology for the hassle. They suggested it would be easier to just take it to target for a refund than to bother mead with it. So I guess give that a try, fellow handless binder purchasers?
