Nice chair but seat color is off
I bought four of the Hercules black ladder back barstools with a “natural” wood seat. Just received them today. The chairs seem sturdy, however, I do not like the color of the seat. It is a yellow—orangey wood color (the color of the old fashion chairs I’m trying to get rid of!) They are supposed to be natural wood. When I think of natural wood, I think of a light color. I’m going to have to sand them and try to fix it myself; too expensive to send back.

Great chair!
We bought this because we needed a sturdy, masculine looking stool style. I was scared when the boxes arrived as they had taken a beating in shipment and seemed lightweight. No problems, they were really wrapped well. Next test was my 260 pound son sitting on them and not feeling like he was hanging off. Passed there. We really like them. We actually needed a higher bar height overall, but since they are hard to find, we built a riser by the bar they are on.

Overall okay
I bought this item a few weeks ago and over all it's okay, however I don't like that one of the seats were chipped and that the legs on the barstools aren't a 100% but their comfortable. I just wish some wasn't rocky and the chip wasn't there for all the money I spent.
