Do NOT Buy- Multiple Copies Defective!
Do not buy! The first one I purchased skipped. I exchanged it for a replacement (after two attempts with inconsistent customer service policies) and the replacement skips as well. Very poor quality and absolute waste of money. Now that the vinyl is harder to find in stores, I can’t even exchange it. You can’t return open music albums, only exchange for the EXACT product. So you will basically be stuck with a useless record.

Came with alot of noise, imperfections and skips. Exchanged it and the new one was the same but slighly less. The gold is also much more dull than the pic. I would get a different press of this album.

The picture shows a metallic gold with liquid detail but all you get is a dull gold vinyl. I was okay with that but it also had black spots on it and songs would skip/pop. Trust the other reviews. DO NOT get this edition of Rumors.

LOVE Rumours, but this one skips.
Seems like you either get lucky with a good one, or end up with a bad one. Mine is on the bad side… but after reading some of these reviews, I have fewer skips than most people. So I guess it could be worse! Overall, the quality is just not great compared to other albums in my collection, which is really too bad. Rumours is one of my favorites and deserves better.

So excited, and then it has about 21 skips on side one. Do not know how to approach Target about a replacement or refund. I know it's not us, we sell phonographs and it's a new needle. We aren't new. The lyrics came with the album. too bad it would have been a delight for years.

Just love it, 130gm vinyl
Got this on 8 track back in the day, when I found it at target today I just had to have it, then I saw all these bad reviews and got a little worried. I wet cleaned it like I do all new vinyl, it is flat, plays quite with no distortion and sounds totally amazing. Mine is solid gold with no black imperfections. So happy mine is good. It is 130gm vinyl but I have a lot of 100gm vinyl from the 70's and 80's so in my book better vinyl starts at 130gm.

skips, visible flaws in vinyl
I was in Target today and saw they were having a "buy 2 get 1 free" sale on music. The recent remaster of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon' caught my eye, and Peter Gabriel's "So," so I went searching for a third record. Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors"? Perfect. Well, not so much. I got it home, opened it up and pulled out the record, and the first thing I noticed was a big black spot in the middle of the gold record, visible on both sides. Did they forget to clean all of the black vinyl pellets out of the pressing machine before pressing this? Very annoying, though I probably would have let this pass. But then I saw a big, visible pressing flaw on the first track of side two, "The Chain". Like, a very visible, obvious flaw, the grooves on a whole section are seriously messed up. Just to be sure I tried putting it on my turntable anyway, and sure enough, it skips like crazy. So I'll be returning it. I had planned to look for a nearby store that had it in stock and exchange it there, but then I saw the other reviews here. No thanks. I'll be passing on this pressing. A shame. Target had better not give me any issues about returning it with the sale price.

PHENOMENAL
I've been wanting to add this record to my collection for years and was glad to get my hands on this pressing. I'm just reading the bad reviews upon writing my own and I'm guessinh the issue might have been resolved because mine played prefecfly fine on both sides back to back. The gold color is beautiful and a nice ode to the flast track.

Mine came out with little defects like it skips and sounds blurry at times,Also it has these little black spots on the tracks idk if that’s how it’s supposed to be?but I will be exchanging this,hopefully the next one doesn’t come out the same or worse. love FLEETWOOD MAC

I’ve had to replace this because the record skipped like crazy. Got it replaced and the replacement skips too! Not worth the headache. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with a record from Target

Very poor quality all around - DO NOT BUY!
BE WARNED! This is the worst experience with an album, and with Target in general, that I've had in my life! It never even occurred to me that something this bad would be offered for sale. Superficially, the album sleeve looks and feels cheap. Like the cardboard would disintegrate if you sneezed in its direction. More importantly, the sound is TERRIBLE. It sounds like the manufacturer played it on their pc and recorded it with their phone from the other side of the room and then used that file for the LP pressing. Seriously. The vocal tracks are flat and hidden, the drum tracks are muffled and stuffed way in the background, and that's just first impressions. It's obvious after about 10 seconds that this is not acceptable. Target should be absolutely ashamed to sell this at all. At the full price of an actual LP. This is very much a Temu-esque, off-the-mark approximation of an LP instead of being an actual LP. The fact that this is being touted as a special "Target Exclusive," like they're proud of it, is unfathomable. This honestly feels like a scam. I feel duped.

Either the records are poorly made, poorly shipped, or both. The first one skipped a lot, but didn’t have any visible defects. The replacement also skips a lot, and also has visible defects. This is a gamble buy, because Target will only exchange for a new one and won’t refund.
