Q: Does this need to be refrigerated when unopened?
A: With a scissor make a small cut on one of the corners of the package, after used sealed the small cut with masking tape. Make sure to refrigerate it after opening so the yeast stays fresh and active.

Q: Why does the yeast stick to the sides. How do you get the most of each packet?
A: Hi Jessica, This type of yeast is inherently static. The manufacturing processes include equipment to significantly reduce static during processing. However, processing during extreme conditions, such as cold days when air is dry and static is high, it is impossible to eliminate the all static present. Tapping the envelope can help dislodge the yeast when it sticks to the inside of the packet due to the static. hope this help! Thank you for your question.
