Q: How do the ties get secured to the toboggan?

A: Vicki, The black ties on the outer part of the pad should correspond to the hooks on the toboggan. I recommend a strong knot on the hooks to secure the pad to the safely. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Liam

Very nicely made. Be aware. It is only 54 inches ( 4 1/2 feet ) long. It is not 6 ft. I still like the quality and would recommend it.

Very dissatisfied. Pad only measured 4 feet 54 inches, described as a pad that should be 6 feet. toboggan is 6 feet.
