Flower Kids' Wall Kids' Shelf - Pillowfort™

Wife bought this for our daughters room. It is very cheap, the paint wasn't thick enough to cover the blemishes in the wood backing and the hardware supplied to hang the shelf were junk. Had to use my own anchors and screws to secure it. You definitely get what you pay for. I would much rather my wife spend more money on something quality rather than this throw away garbage shelf.

This shelf is adorable! HOWEVER, the one massive complaint I have is that the instructions say to drill your holes 12” apart, the diagram says to measure 11.5” apart, but the actual mounts that are preinstalled on the shelf are 11.25” apart. Measure the mount distance or use the tape method before putting unnecessary holes in your brand new walls to save yourself a headache.

I got this shelf when it was on sale and even it comes from kids section, I like this brand stuff. I got some woven baskets and this shelf while on sale. To DIY under 20 dollars, it was worth it, but it’s a pain hooking it up to the wall. I’ve imagined to use this shelf for me perfumes and it worked perfectly so when I’m out of shower or in rush out of the house, it’s always at the reach. It is a bit light, not best quality, but I had to double check it stays on-:). I like the design. I did not use any of the screws that came with it and did not so those big hole drilling. I used paining hooks that cause less damage to the wall and hooked to it. It actually worked and I had to use long piece of paper to measure from hook to hook and use those measures against the wall. It is still a pain to hook it up but after third try it looks super nice. I wish they make same type of design but way smaller to hang hand towel. I’m debating maybe getting another few other things, or just place my flat iron on it but may not be necessary to collect all the dust. It’s not intended for heavier items.

Kind of difficult to hang up. Used painters tape trick but still difficult adding to wall. First shelf went up easy peasy, second it took about 10+ tries. Make sure you check the shelves for cracks and chips. The mustard yellow didn’t match my baby’s room and I didn’t really like how much it stood out so I painted it with the paint we used for walls. I used an exacto knife and taped off all of the wooden edges and voila. The leaves on the outside of the flowers I got from hobby lobby to just bring everything together

Love it! Great price. Pro tip: use painters tape to mark the spots for the hardware. Tape it across the back of the shelf over the hardware, mark it, then you can use that tape as your guide on the wall. Just need to use a level (or measure distance from the ground on each end of the tape) to make sure the tape is straight on the wall. I use this easy method for anything I hang on a wall, big or small! I am using the shelf for one of my orchids, love it! It’s my style and the price is a steal compared to similar style shelves I have seen.

I brought this for my granddaughter-- play area. Great quality, it was bigger than I thought but overall good shelf.

I really like the design I bought for my move to my new studio apartment in Tampa, FL and am excited to hang it on my wall I know it’s designed for a child’s space but I like it for me I smile every time I look at it

Purchased for wall decoration for my esthetics room and everyone loves them! My kid loved them so much I have to get more for the house.

These are so cute, however, if you are buying multiples and putting them near each other be forewarned, there are different color variations. Obviously they are all yellow but the color consistency is off. I personally didn’t mind because it still matches what I was using them for. I suggest going to the store and purchasing yourself if that’s something that’s going to bother you! Overall super cute!

Got them for my baby’s nursery as decor and fit perfect with our flower theme. Haven’t hung them yet so can’t speak to that, but was able to easily paint them to better match nursery colors

The self separates from the flower. Looked at 3 and they were all like this. Had to add wood glue and clamps when I got home to fix the problem. Which is frustrating given the cost. Otherwise it is super cute.

Would make a really fun shelf for a playful office or a fun kid’s room. I ordered a couple of them for my office but unfortunately both of them had cracks in different places. The shelves were too expensive to already be cracked and the shelf space was too narrow to hold much more than a tiny photo frame.
