Sucks because it doesn't suck
Worked to vacuum and seal literally ONE time. Second bag no air removed. No liquid or food causing issues. Unit was perfectly clean and nothing blocked the vacuum hole. Tried with generic bag roll as well as with the name brand included in the box. Now I get to spend my Saturday driving back to target- 30 miles away- to return this lemon and then try to find another sealer somewhere else before my food spoils or freezer burns. Won’t be purchasing another Food Saver brand product.

Easy to clean and use and price it right
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty cool machine u can store dry foods. Vacuum seal them for a long time I marinated some chiken legs for 3 days before grilling them and it worked great fast and easy to use and easy to clean also the price it's right for a Vacuum sealer after all done eating I Vacuum seal the left overs shredded the chicken for tacos so it's pretty nice machine I'm glad I got it I can also shop up fruit for my kids and seal it for when ever they are ready to eat it it's very nice and worth the price

The vacuum part works great. This device successfully seals exactly 18.75% of the attempted tries. This item should not be sold at all.

However I needed to give this product a try. This is exactly what I needed. It is a very quick seal and the vacuum suction was the same. I didn’t even think twice to toss my old one. This is what I should have had a long time ago. Thank you for sending me this product. It is definitely worth purchasing if you ever need a good vacuum sealer.

Beautiful but bulky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the product is beautiful, looks sleek and the color fit perfectly in my kitchen. The problem is it’s big and I already have other machines on my counters. So the food saver goes into a cabinet for storage the problem with that it won’t get used as often as it should. It’s a good product and works well for the reason you need it it just becomes one extra product in your cabinet you forget about.

Does not vacuum well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use. It is very easy to make your own sealed bags. The only thing I don’t like about it is the vacuum performance. It does the vacuums for few mins then it says it will automatically seal but once goes to sealing you can feel the bag has little bit of air. It was not fully vacuumed but it still works. I don’t think it is good for meat though.

Easy way to make food last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked to review this limited edition Foodsaver for Influenster. It is in oat milk color so it can go with any kitchen decor if you leave it out. With the high cost of food nowadays I jumped at the chance to make it last longer. It is going to take some practice to be able to get a straight seal but it works fast and easy. I also can’t wait to prep some dishes ahead and have a way to make it last longer in the freezer to grab and go on a busy night. I was very skeptical at first since I’ve never owned one on thing I will tell you is that I marinated chicken and meat for Fourth of July. It came out super flavorful, I didn’t know what of a difference it would make. This is a great food save fyi you can buy special tubs on the side to save other things. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say took me a couple tries to get it right the first time but I just cut off the previous seal & got it the next time. Very fast and easy to portion frozen items. I’ve only tried on meats & fish but I would think it would be nice to use for fruits for smoothies or bread. It has a dry/moist button which you can change between to vacuum any moisture out before it seals and the drain is easy to clean. The storing option is nice to have it locked as I keep this in a high cupboard & would be a pain to have it open when trying to reach it down.

Great light weight product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is sturdy yet not heavy. It is really fast with sealing bags. The only down is it doesn't come with very good instructions. I had to go to YouTube to find directions on how to use it. Once figured out I'm sure it would be very useful especially since I've been wanting one.

Save you moneys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best kitchen appliance I've ever gotten! I was throwing away so much food in the past since I could never consume what I bought in time, especially produce. Meat was even worst because ziplock bags don't prevent freezer burn aftertaste! Decided to try this out and it's been working great. Extremely simple to operate, compact, and uses any vacuum seal bag. All you have to do is seal one end of the bag, place whatever in it, then pump away. I've used it for almost everything so far: left over meat, dry goods, hard root veggies, beans etc. The best part of owning this sealer is that I can buy big packages of meat and divided. Must have for everyone!
