Very disappointed. Did not have suction power and options of one I was replacing that I had purchased 17 years ago. Returned and purchased one from different manufacturer.

The force needed to close the unit took some getting used to but it is just fine. There is much less waste of plastic above the seal than that on my fifteen-year old unit. I love that. I do miss the retractable accessory hose. However, I really don't use it much and I suppose I will get used to clicking the detachable hose in as well. Most of all, I love the low profile. i think it is the smallest and lightest model. I can easily slip it into the drawer. I don't miss extra functions such as Gentle and Moist.

I bought the first sealer which worked for about a week. They sent me a replacement sealer which doesn't work correctly. The accessory attachment don't work well and are extremely difficult to connect. I also bought sealer containers which do not hold the seals. Basically, everything sucks. Don't waste your money.

Disappointed that this food saver does not store the rolls to make the bags. I have to cut them myself. I have been using food saver machines for over 20 years and this is a first.

I have had great success in the past as I freeze a lot of what we produce.This,so-called space saver takes up more room because now I have to find other places to put the roll of plastic and it is much slower hand cutting with scissors. The older models were much more efficient.The vacuum motor is weak and only some of the bags seal and even then ,many still have some air in them.

I have had this for about 6 months to replace a much larger vacuum sealer that I had for several years that had finally stopped working. It is so compact and convenient that I love it and will never go back to the much larger appliance. Great Job!!

terrible experience. used once and the vacuum stopped working? still makes noise but will not vacuum. i filed a warranty claim and never heard anything else. instructions are vague and not very great. for buying the product and only using what came with said product i expected better

I've previously had FoodSavers and they worked great for sealing everything, including jars, until they finally gave out.. Just purchased this model today primarily for sealing jars. Well, I tried to use it when I got home and the accessory hose doesn't even fit into the hole where it is suppose to go. It is too small, won't stay in place and falls out. Even if I try to hold it in place, it will not seal. I am using the correct jars, lids and FoodSaver accessory that goes over the jar/lid. I am returning this and will probably get a different brand. Plus the instructions are terrible!!!

This product is awful! I purchased in store excited because my other one died ! It was also food saver … this vacuumed but the motor kept running and running for minutes and never sealed !!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Will be returning to store for refund-food saver needs to do better! Products are junk lately this is the second one ( the other one was a different food saver I tried ) that was returned as welll! Junk junk junk! Will be purchasing an off brand vacuum sealer

Bought this albeit with skepticism as I read the mixed reviews. I got the machine home, plugged it in a a followed the directions. What seems like a simple machine is actually quite complicated to use. Closing the lid to seal a bag is the funniest part. You literally have to slam the machine closed to get the lights to come on. Total price of $80 junk. Going back.

I was so excited. Did a huge shopping to stock up on meat laid it all out, read the instructions step by step and cut the size bag with scissors leaving enough space. I don’t know if I received a broken one but it did not vacuum. It sealed the bag though but it blew air into the bag and sealed it. I went through the whole roll they give you hoping it was just a warm up or if I was doing something wrong. Obviously I’ll be returning it immediately. Oh and it also was very loud and didn’t sound too healthy.

I had an older model and it finally quit working so I purchased this as replacement. It’s compact and works great. Just wish it had the cutter on it like the old one had but really happy overall. Good vacuum and seal.
