The F-word is used 34 times in this 443 page book (that's 1% of the entire book ) .Men, as a general rule, have used the F-word long before the Victorian era, which this book is set in.

The author used the F-word because it fits a reaction by a frustrated, angry male. It is a visceral word with a guttural sound and projects the emotion of outrage in a harsh and visceral manner. Men are always crass & crude with other men. In contrast to the use of the F-word the author refuses to use the word sh*t as it evokes an image of filth and bodily waste. Please factor this information into your buying decision.

Finally, this book has a happy ending for the couple, it has a reincarnation twist. If you didn't like A Knight In Shining Author or are uncomfortable with all the info above it's doubtful you'll enjoy the book. So Don't Buy It.

Alright...I was thinking when I got this that I don't know [how] she's going to make all the elements work.. Time-travel, Romance& a dash of the paranormal....But the end result was pure brilliance, the story takes place in the present & Victorian England, her attention to detail & the story itself were beautiful, strong & so vivid I forgot I was reading at times. The characters are so well-developed & their romance was sexy & timeless. Ms. Burns is a master( or mistress) of her craft. I don't have the words to do this justice....Just that you MUST read this.
