Corn bread covering is fluffy and not too sweet. The hot dig is not too salty. This puts this at our number ONE corn dog ! So good with brown mustard or what ever you like! So this allows you to add condiments if you choose or just eat it straight; so good and tasty!

My family and I have been enjoying them for over 20 years — they’ve been a staple in our home for quick meals, after-school snacks, and even movie nights. The flavor, especially the distinct taste of the chicken hot dog, has always set your product apart from others on the market. However, I recently purchased a new box after not having bought them for about two months, and unfortunately, something seems noticeably different. I baked a few today, and both my daughter and I immediately noticed that they taste off — like something essential is missing. The familiar, savory chicken flavor in the hot dog seems to be gone, leaving them tasting unusually plain and lacking that satisfying bite we’re used to. It’s disappointing, especially considering how consistent and delicious they’ve been for so many years. I’m not sure if the recipe has changed or if this was just a bad batch, but I wanted to reach out and share our experience. We really hope the original flavor returns, because until now, we’ve always considered Foster Farms corn dogs the best out there. I bought a box of these a few weeks ago and cooked some for myself and my daughter. She asked me how old they were after taking a bite. She said the tasted bad. I looked at them and noticed what I initially thought was the glue that’s used to seal the box together. I opened up all 4 corn dogs and not only were they a pink color, but everyone of them had that “glue” stuff in them. Needless to say, I threw the whole box away.

I bought this specific brand about a week ago from a local grocery store. Everything seems fine until I cook them. I noticed a strange smell and taste when we begin to eat these corn dogs. The breading seems fine but the hot dog itself was disgusting.

Bought the 16 pack corndogs and they are not the same as they were the breading is good but the hotdog taste like rubber i will never buy them again.
