A: Hi - we suppose you could modify this design to be used with a pull chain, but it is not designed for that. It is meant to be operated from a wall switch.

Entryway Elegance
This light is worth every penny. It is stunning elegance. You do see the hardware through the glass dome but don't let that stop you from purchasing this masterpiece. I used amber 60 watt bulbs to create the setting I like. If using a regular white bulb I suggest using a lower wattage because it illuminates plenty of light. The glass is thick and the light is well crafted. Easy to install.
