Franklin Iron Works Rustic Outdoor Wall Light LED Bronze Hanging Lantern Sconce Fixture for House Deck Porch Patio

Purchased and installed 4 units in 2019. Only recently did I begin occasionally turning my outdoor lights on. One failed after approximately 30 days of use (one hour per night). Absolute waste of money.

I've had these lights several years and now one has burned out. I expected them to last a lot longer. How long should they last?

I bought two of these for my sisters front door. They are lovely (the star) BUT they haven't lasted. It's been less than 5 years and one is out - not the other. You can't replace the LED disk. Wish I had just gotten two with bulbs!

Beautiful lamp. A clean, rich look

I really liked everything about this lantern-light.......Bubble glass, finish, shape, size. It really is a lovely porch light. But after only 3 years, the lights have burned out. This is ridiculous, especially considering that our porch light is rarely on. (We're seniors who only get visitors a few times a month.) The light is only on when people enter/exit our front door at night........At the most, 10 minutes at time. (Never for hours on end or overnight.) This really concerns me, because I have 5 more of these lights on the exterior of our house. As beautiful as the light is, I can't recommend it for purchase.

We purchased 9 of these and after 5 years we are having to replace them all - they are beautiful but they just don't last and now they are out of warranty. We will replace with something else - what a waste - keep shopping!

I purchased 14 of these for the two houses on my property. They look great but I've recently experienced the first one with a burned out bulb which means trashing the entire unit since they have an integrated (non replaceable) bulb. I'm sure I will have an avalanche of failing fixtures in the near future which upsets me. It makes me wonder what genius ever conceived of manufacturing and selling fixtures that go to a hazardous waste site when the bulbs need replacing??

Great styling! We have received many compliments on this fixture. We have two on the sides of our garage and a smaller size near our front and back doors. My only negative, and it's an expensive one, they don't have replaceable bulbs. My first fixture lasted 4 years (long compared to some reviews I have read) and our second one just went out (about 5 years after install). At $180 a pop, it's not cheap, especially since it could be a simple bulb replacement if it was made to be more user-friendly.

Quality of this Fixture is terrible. As I was hanging this fixture on the wall. The ring around the bottom of the glass area is falling off. I think it was spot welded or glued not sure. The fixture I took down was much better quality which I bought from Costco 2014 $48.00. The problem was the LED light quit working. I should of got a new one but I could not find one. Anyway I glued the Lamps Plus back together and it works until I get the old lamp back together. Which will be very soon. The old lamp fixture is way better quality for a lot less money

I installed 9 of these lights in early 2017. So far three have stopped working. as others have written there is no way to replace the bulb or repair them. Based on our usage these should average 35 years, not 5 years. Do yourself a favor and keep shopping. I would not buy these again.

We love how these look. But after just over 2 years they are starting to burn out. Now I find out you can’t replace the bulb and I have to spend $180 for a whole new fixture. I wish they would’ve told me that before I bought them. Ridiculous. And LED is supposed to last 30,000 hours. These lasted less than 9,000 hours.

DO NOT BUY! Have to throw out whole unit when light doesn’t work…..should be clearly stated BEFORE you buy. I wasted a lot of money buying 5 of these beautiful lanterns that now have to be taken off my walls and replaced.

Lights are beautiful, especially at night as the attached photo shows. We bought 11 of them.

These lanterns are elegant and beautiful! We love the soft amber light that bring a gorgeous look to the front of our home. Being LED is even better because they use very little electricity. Great price too!

Lights burned out in 4 years. Using the 30,000 hour lifetime, and assuming the lights are on 10 hours/day, the lights should last over 8 years. I would never buy a fixture with non-replaceable lighting again. My new lights have replaceable bulbs.

Wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews, because one of our two lights has crapped out after less than two years with minimal usage. Quite unfortunate given that it is not an inexpensive light. Now, I have to decide whether to risk sinking another $150+ so I can have matching lights on the porch or have to abandon this light and just be mismatched. Not happy.

Installed 3 years ago 7 of these lanterns ....2 quit working. Checked and found 1/2 LEDs are not working. Chinese junk. I'm replacing the integrated light with 2 candelera light sockets and using candelera LED bulbs. Old Timet
