Our Nine Grain bread is made with natural ingredients, is free from artificial colors or dyes, contains no high fructose corn syrup, artificial preservatives, partially hydrogenated oils and 0 grams trans fat. Founded in 1906 by Englebert Franz, Franz Bakery continues the tradition of baking fresh breads for communities throughout the United States. San Juan Island Nine Grain Sandwich Bread has been my favorite for several years now. Sweet and flavourful, this bread is ideal for everything from classic peanut butter and jelly to savory roast beef and cheese, and beyond. The whole grains add a fine, nutty texture that cannot be found in most other sandwich bread options in the grocery isle.
