Fresh Step Febreze and Gain Cat Litter - 25lb

We've tried them all, and this was the one that our cats responded to the most, and liked. I would reccomend Frest Step over any of the other brands on the market!

I've been using this for many years.

I accidentally bought this gain fresh step instead of the gain fresh step 21 day. Only difference on the box is one says 15 days and one says 21 day. This item(15 day) give my cat chemical burns on his paws. The 21 does not. No idea why.

gain scent controls the smells very well but smell can be overpowering. it is also very dusty but most clay litters are… My cat kinda smells like gain after using her litter box; especially if it has brand new litter.

No matter what, no matter how good the product is for older or clumping or any of the other things. They should not tell a bold-faced lie on the package. 99% dust free is 100% a lie. It is extremely dusty

We just adopted our kitten a couple months ago & without doing lots of research on cat litter, I went with a&h. After using it… I wasn’t a huge fan because although scented, the litter scent was very strong that lingered throughout the house. & don’t get me started on how dusty it was! I didn’t want to waste it so we waited til it was time to get new litter. I’ve read great reviews on the fresh steps and after just cleaning out our kitten’s litter, I can tell a huge difference! Scent is very light & the clumping is great! & very minimal dust. Will definitely stick to this brand from now on!

My cats really likes this cat litter

I like buying this specific cat litter. It isn’t dusty and it does clump well. I don’t think it has a strong fragrance smell to it either and my cat loves it. You cannot smell the litter box at all. I have had people come to my house and say that it does not smell like a cat lives there. I do also change my litter quite often. I see people say that it smells gross but if you change/clean your litter box often, I found it doesn’t smell. I clean it every other day and change the litter every other week sometimes once a week but that’s my preference. I do think this litter is the best. I have tried several and this by far really does mask the smell of just about anything.

Box was crushed & open in center so litter falls out when dispensing. Happened once before when ordering for drive up.

I don’t understand what the hype is about this litter: I have an automatic litter box and usually use the target brand. I have NEVER in my life smelled my cat’s poop as much as when I used this. I mean my whole apartment smelt like DOOKEY. Straight doo doo. It clumped up decently, but smelled TERRIBLE! Absolutely no odor control.

Nothing dust free about it. This is the most dusty litter! I get allergies from it and use a mask to scoop, how is this safe for my kitty? It clumps smells okay but the bad outweighs the good!

This litter is amazing !!! Have tried multiple brands & this is by far the best! Smells amazing & completely eliminates any bad odors that the other brands can’t even come close. Clumps nicely as well so you use less letter. Will be my go to from now on.

I have used fresh step before and it has worked wonders, but this specific scent does a HORRENDOUS job at odor control. Plus it causes a lot of tracking. The only reason I continued to use it is because I didn’t want to be wasteful.
