Q: Can this be cubed and frozen for training treats?

A: Hi, while our rolls are made to be served fresh from the fridge, you can feel free to freeze any unused portions upon opening. Keep in mind texture and moisture levels may vary after freezing, but this will not change the nutritional value of the food. For any unopened rolls, it is best to keep it in the refrigerator until the sell by date stamped on the package. Hope this helps! - Jillian

Q: Is this a low fat product? My 6pound chihuahua has a super sensitive gi tract and evidently, Gallbladder sludge. He stays on a NO fat/super low fat diet.

Q: My local target has been out of this food for 2 weeks. It's the only food we have found that his stomach tolerates. Is there a way to stock sensitive stomach and skin more regularly?

A: Freshpet dog food is a complete and balanced food formulated for dogs. It should not be fed to cats as the only diet since cat nutrition requirements are different from dogs. It will not harm your cat if fed as a treat or occasionally as a supplemental recipe. But, we would recommend you check with your vet if you are using it as your pet's sole diet. Appreciate having the steamed chicken, sensitive stomach roll on hand to supplement my pup's mostly raw diet. I've tried supplementing with premium kibble, but it makes him incredibly thirsty. He does very well with Freshpet:)!

We use it as a topper and sometimes as a treat. My dog has a sensitive tummy to new foods and didn’t have any trouble with this one. The ingredients seem fresh and great for him.

I ended up using it as a topper and that worked wonderfully and stretched the package out a bit. I’m not sure I would buy again because it would be a lot economically for us, but for smaller dogs I think this is a very easy way to feed fresh food.

It's made with real ingredients, which is cool, and they seem to really enjoy If you're struggling to find a food your dogs will eat, seriously, give Freshpet a shot. I usually take it out and put it in a tiny container.

It comes in a tube and I sliced it and broke it into smaller pieces on top of the kibble. Both my dog must of smelt it when I opened it because they both came running and ate it with no issues. It kinda looked like a giant hotdog.

However, it seems like as she gets older it starts to disagreeing with her stomach. I know every dog reacts differently but I will probably not give her anymore after this time.

My dog vomits when she eats this. Which is a shame, because she does like to eat ithe food, but it always makes her sick. She's thrown up two days in a row and when I stopped feeding her this she no longer gets sick.

This was easily stored in the fridge and easy to cut open. I wasn’t sure if he’d like the pumpkin ingredient but he ate it without any issues and it didn’t bother his stomach. Overall I’d buy this again and probably mix it with dry food to stretch it some.

Usually if she had a new food that isn't just a little at a time she gets an upset stomach for at least a day. For that reason I try to just stick to what I know doesn't bother her but sometimes she wants a little variety and stops eating for a day or so. I like to find as many options as I can for her to keep her meals interesting. I just added this to her meals as a topper and it was an instant hit. She ate every bite of her food. The roll lasted quite a while since I wasn't using it as a meal replacement just an enhancement. The food looked good and didn't smell icky like other foods. Pocahontas had no signs of an upset stomach after trying this. I have already gone to repurchase this food, they were out, but have since tried other options from this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenager is in charge of feeding my younger dog sirius, so pretty much the dogs in my household experienced freshpet chicken with pumpkin, and loved it, quite honestly I had to dig into the trash to flattened out the plastic to take a picture. From what my teenager said they chopped onto chunks and gave without dry kibble.
