A: Hi, while our rolls are made to be served fresh from the fridge, you can feel free to freeze any unused portions upon opening. Keep in mind texture and moisture levels may vary after freezing, but this will not change the nutritional value of the food. Q: Is this a low fat product? My 6pound chihuahua has a super sensitive gi tract and evidently, Gallbladder sludge. He stays on a NO fat/super low fat diet.

Q: My local target has been out of this food for 2 weeks. It's the only food we have found that his stomach tolerates. Is there a way to stock sensitive stomach and skin more regularly?

A: Freshpet dog food is a complete and balanced food formulated for dogs. It should not be fed to cats as the only diet since cat nutrition requirements are different from dogs. It will not harm your cat if fed as a treat or occasionally as a supplemental recipe. But, we would recommend you check with your vet if you are using it as your pet's sole diet. You recommend this for my senior dog and she’s eating and pooping very well. She was on antibiotics and cough pill and she done great with it so far. Yesterday was her last antibiotic and she has a few more cough medicine left. Now she’s figuring out that I put the pills in her food and it takes her almost half the day to eat her morning portion of the food. Her bowls are moving much better though and no loose stool. Thanks for the recommendations.

I bought this 4 days ago for our senior dog. I wish that I had done it much sooner. I have discontinued apoquel and his acid reflux medications. He has stopped scratching and throwing up yellow bile in the middle of the night. The ingredients are just what I would cook for him if I was doing it myself but I know that freshpet also has done the research and has added the essential vitamins that a dog needs so I don't have to worry about our boy getting the nutrients that he needs. His BMs are a lot better too.

Not sure if the recipe has changed but for about 6-8 months my dog loved it. Now he coughs everytime he eats it. Research the brand. They have had bouts of salmonella, so if your dog has symptoms afterwards, it’s not allergies. Just an fyi!

As my dog Luna got older her stomach could really handle her regular dog food, I kept changing trying to find the right food for her. She would throw up, have hard stool or sometimes have a few bites and walk away from her food. Her stomach Issues got worse, she didn’t wanna eat at all, she really looked depressed. Then I finally found fresh pet sensitive, it was like night and day! She started acting like her regular self again happy to eat and wanting to play again. I’m so glad she can enjoy eating without any issues.

My dog is a pickey eater. She came down with IBS she was put on a DD diet by the vet. She wouldn't eat that food. I've tried this one and she eats all of it. She's not having problems so with her digestion a little expensive but if it works then its worth it.
