A great replacemt fir fresh
Better than the hit or miss of fresh blueberries, especially when I use pick up. I use blueberries daily in my oatmeal so this was a good alternative. .

Wild vs Cultivated
They appear to be cultivated blueberries marketed as wild. They are not small in size as wild should be but are larger, like cultivated. Very deceiving marketing.

Best Flaver, Sweet, High in Antioxidants
I'm not sure if these Wild Blueberries are new to my Target, but I used to have to make a special trip to another store just to get them. These have more/full flavor, and sweeter than regular blueberries, and have twice as much antioxidants, plus anthocyanins to reduce inflammation. This week, they were also on a great sale when you buy 2 bags. I defrost them and put them on pancakes, cereal, yogurt, ice cream, or eat them by themselves. They are also great in smoothies.

Not wild blueberries
Although these are labeled as wild blueberries they are cultivated blueberries. Wild blueberries - Vaccinium angustifolium - are a different plant from cultivated - Vaccinium corymbosum - and produce tiny berries that vary in color from blue to black. These blueberries are large and uniform in color.

NOT wild blueberries
These are not wild blueberriers! Wild blueberries are very small and packed with flavor. Comparing these next to Trader Joes or Wymans wild bluberries, it's obvious these are cultivated blueberries.

Bad batch?
I eat these blueberries about 3-4 times each week as part of my breakfast. Typically these are great frozen blueberries, but this last bag hasn’t been good. What are typically consistently sized berries are instead an assortment of sizes. (Not a big deal, just an indication that something has changed, at least in this batch.) The concerning/annoying part, though, is that there are some stems and tough bits in the berries from this last bag and a few of the berries don’t taste good. One or two? Understandable. I’ve now run into several in this serving. I may try one more bag of these before I switch over to another brand, but the rest of this bag is getting tossed out. Hopefully this particular batch just wasn’t sorted properly, and isn’t an overall issue beyond that.

HIGHLY recommend!
So much flavor, significantly higher in antioxidants, never sprayed with chemicals since they’re wild, and the price is on point!

best blueberries around
These are wild blueberries which have much more health benefits than regular and they are much smaller and tender. This makes them great for a topping or a quick room defrost allows them to be put in baked goods.
