I thought the fit was great and I picked the XS to Small size as I like to wear my robes more fitted but could have picked the next size up. I normally wear a size 8 and and 5ft 6 tall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for myself. I am 5’3, athletic build. I average between a size small and medium. I went with the extra small/small in this robe. I loved the print. The black and white buffalo print is so cozy this time of year. It has a internal tie and then the tie on the outside. I suppose you would use the internal one if you were wearing it longer periods. I had pockets and it was cozy !! It felt still a little big, I’m assuming that is how it’s suppose to fit. There is a loop at the neck line for hanging on a hook. There are also two square pockets on the front of the robe that are deep. This robe comes with a belt as well as a string on the inside to help keep it tied closed . It is long and cozy, but does not feel too heavy while wearing it. Great for the summer or winter. If I would have to guess, I would say it fits true to size, I just like some loungewear to be really big and extra comfy on me.
