Delicious Candy Coating. Bland Pineapple.
The sour candy coating is delicious and crunchy. Pineapple is my favorite fruit but I think they found the absolute blandest pineapple to use. Also not cut super well so some harder inedible core in there as well. If the fruit was quality in flavor and cut, It'd be a solid 5 stars from me. I'd give another bag a try though to see if the fruit is better.

Candy coating flavor matters
I’ve tried the other fruit riot flavors and what I’ve found is that the pineapple ones would drastically improve if they had a flavored candy coating. The mango and grape fruit riots are sour and tasty even when the actual fruit is lacking in flavor. Without the flavored candy coating, there’s nothing to make up for when you encounter a bland pineapple :/

Love them all
I wasn’t sure about purchasing the pineapple fruit riot based on some of the reviews but I am glad I tried it! It’s just as good as all the others…very sour with varied sized pieces of frozen pineapple. So good…but like the others if you eat too many it can tear up your tongue a bit due to the level of sourness. Love them all and will continue to buy on repeat!

My poor mouth.
The worst combo: sour and pineapple. It tastes fine but the sourness in conjunction with pineapple feels almost like it’s eating away my flesh especially since the nature of pineapple is already irritating to the mouth. The other fruits are much better and less canker sore inducing.

Pineapple packs a punch!
Okay, first and foremost, OBSESSED with all the fruit riot options and so happy we finally have them in Hawaii 🙌🏼 Pineapple is my least fav from a textural standpoint however they’re the most sour ones so they’ve got that going for em - still 5 stars, fruit riot can do no wrong in my eyes. If you like snacking on frozen fruit and you’re fan of sour candy, these will be your new go-to!!!
