Ideal Pad for a Specific Mattress Size
This mattress pad is an excellent fit for a very specific mattress size that's often difficult to find. At 60" x 72", it fits the West Elm Haven sofa sleeper mattress perfectly. It provides a breathable, protective layer between your sheets and the sofa bed mattress while staying securely in place. This is not a thick mattress pad, but it does add a moderate amount of cushioning. The corner pockets are deep enough to accommodate a 1"–2" memory foam topper underneath if you want additional softness. To help preserve the fit and elastic, I've had the best results washing it in cold water on the gentle cycle and drying it on the delicate/no-heat setting. This has helped prevent shrinking and kept the elastic in good condition. One important note: after doing some research, I found that a typical short queen mattress for a sofa bed or RV measures 60" x 75" and is usually 4"–8" thick. This particular pad is 60" x 72", so it's designed for a more specialized mattress size. It is not intended to fit a standard queen mattress, which measures 60" x 80". I recommend measuring your mattress before ordering to avoid disappointment. If you happen to have a 60" x 72" mattress—especially the West Elm Haven sofa sleeper—this pad is an excellent choice. It has zero thickness, I can't believe others say it is. Can't tell it's on the mattress until a corner comes off. Definitely not worth this price, maybe worth $10. Disappointed.

Perfect fit
I purchased the Sleep Philosophy- Holden Waterproof Sofa Bed Mattress Protection Cover and it was a perfect fit even with a 4 " foam topper. I probably should have washed it first, but I didn't so I don't know about any shrinkage. It was the best price online.
