There are various qualities of velvet bedding. This is the cheapest and looks it. Even the higher end bedding Target sells that is velvet does not compare to something you will get at a higher end store. Wait till they have a sale at a store that specializes in bedding (Pottery Barn or West Elm) and you will pay the same price the quality is so much better.

This quilt is better in person! It is soft on the top and bottom layers. The stitched detail adds interest making this quilt a great complementary piece to any bedding. The gold color is pretty true to whats shown online, except I think it leans a little less orange. This quilt was actually for my son's full size bed. It's the perfect size and he loves it. We paired it with striped Pillowfort sheets and a cozy throw!

Gorgeous blanket! We got the green for my son and it is true to color shown on site. The shams that go with it were sold out, so I bought the green shams that go with Target’s Velvet Channel Stitch bedding set and it is a very close match. If they are different colors, I really can’t tell. I have not washed the blanket yet, so I don’t know how it will stand the test of time, but it appears very well made. It is thick, very warm, and soft.
