The Venetia quilt set by Laura Ashley reflects a modern interpretation of a classic graphic damask design, made calming by a neutral blue and gray tones. Sophisticated and elegant, this ensemble will add a decorator look to your bedroom. Reverses to a smaller scale lattice scroll pattern. Prewashed for softness, this 100% cotton quilt set becomes cozier with each wash. Filled with a blend of 80% cotton/20% poly it is light weight yet can be layered for year-round use. Set includes one quilt and two shams for full/queen and king size, one sham for twin size. Machine washable for easy care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice set! Comfortable with a good fit. This is some that is reasonable. Very durable and good material. Nice color and design. I will try to find this same one for my king size bed! I most definitely recommend!

Perfect summer weight spread
I almost sent this back but sooo glad I didn't. It arrives in a vacumn packed bag. It seemed icky, was stiff and scratchy to touch. But I loved the color and I threw it in the wash. Well, it is soft and lies beautifully and the perfect weight. I will say I bought a king for my queen bed and it just comes to bottom of box spring railing. This is not a thick quilt but for the price its just what I needed. Was unwilling to pay the big bucks PB wanted for their quilts.

Perfect for warm weather
This is a very pretty set. I used the lowest dryer setting to avoid blanket shrinkage and it worked. Only complaint is that the shams faded after one wash and are now lighter than the blanket.

I love this quilt so much, but I was so disappointed that after washing it in cold water and drying on low heat, it shrank! The color is beautiful, and it's lightweight and breezy, which is perfect for a hot sleeper like me. I ordered a king, and it would now be perfect for a queen bed. If I could find this in a California King, I would definitely buy it. Other than the shrinking, its definitely a great purchase.

This is a lovely quilt. I didn’t realize it was two-sided, but I love that. It’s generously sized and has enough hang-over to cover the sides of the mattress to the bedskirt. It’s also a nice weight, but not too much. Very nice quality. I am super happy with it.

Love the design, weight, and feel of the quilt and the fact that it's cotton. The design is subtle and it doesn't clash at all with the other room decor. My only minor complaint is that after washing and drying, the quilt shrunk a bit more than I'd expected. At least a couple inches. Before it was washed it hung almost to the floor, and afterward I can now see under my bed. It's still fine on my full size bed but I imagine if it was used for a queen sized bed it may not be long enough.

I like this quilt a lot. Seems good quality and is the perfect weight for summer. The pictures should show the opposite side since I actually ended up liking the print better. My only complaint is the top print looks more like Hawaiian flowers than it shows online.
