Lumpy and uncomfortable
This cushion is uncomfortable for sitting on either alone or with the zafu on top. Its due to the plcement of the pintucks. Costs more to return than its worth so i will keep or just give away *review sourced from Gaiam

Very glad I purchased!
I was a little skeptical that a mass-produced cushion would offer the support I needed to reduce joint pain during meditation, but it's difficult to find a nice-looking zafu-zabuton set in the US (that's also affordable). Large and bulky- do not recommend.
I wasn't happy with this product- much bulkier than I expected - and wanted to exchange for another one that was more expensive and smaller that Gaiam advertises. The shipping was going to be $90+ dollars for me to return and I tried several times to talk to Gaiam customer service about this and was dissatisfied with the communication. It was really frustrating trying to communicate with customer service about this item and the zafu. If you order something and want to return- you are stuck with the return ship and in this case the return shipping is more than the item itself and not worth it. *review sourced from Gaiam

I am new to meditation and I am a middle aged guy with very tight hips. I try to sit, in the lotus position, on my crescent shaped Zafu which is perfect but.... I find this cushion a little under sized, I suspect for most people it will be a good size but due to my extremely tight hips I would have liked it to be just a little larger. No sitting support, unable to return
The cushion does not support you when you sit, the stuffing inside goes around you and you end up sitting on the floor you're on. BUYER BEWARE: I tried to return it but due to the size of the box and weight of cushion it costs more to ship back than the price of the cushion itself so I am stuck with it. *review sourced from Gaiam

Super comfy but not a meditation zabuton
Very comfortable but would not recommend for meditation. When I cross legs it does not accomodate my ankles (I have somewhat long legs). That was the point of buying it. If you want a comfy cushion to sit on it's great. If you want a real zabuton for meditation don't buy this.
