This could mean that older formulations of the products may be on shelves at the same time as newer ones, and each could have different ingredients. Our brands will show all of the major food allergens on the ingredient list, and/or they will be noted in a "Contains" statement just after the ingredient list. This also applies if the top allergens are used in our flavorings and spice mixes. The major food allergens are: Eggs, Fish, Milk, Peanut, Shellfish (Crustacean), Soy, Tree Nuts, Wheat, and Sesame. We segregate allergen and non-allergen ingredients in our facilities. A “May Contains” statement will rarely be used due to our strong manufacturing processes, as we complete thorough cleaning when changing from allergen-containing to non-allergen-containing products. I prefer this to actual meat!
I love this product! I stumbled on it when my husband and I went vegan for a few months and we still use it over ground meat sometimes! It’s a great freezer staple and makes throwing a quick dinner together a breeze. My husband can’t even tell when I’m using it versus actual ground beef!

The Best Vegan Ground Beef Substitute
I have tried other brands of vegan ground beef but Gardein's Ground Be'f is the winner. It tastes the best over the competitors and lends itself beautifully to any recipe that calls for ground meat- Whether it's tacos, chili, shepherds pie, lasagna- You name the recipe and it will fit in wonderfully. It's also easy to digest for me. Thank you for a delicious product.

Not gluten-free anymore
I used to by the plant based ground be'ef, being coeliac... But the new packaging doesn't include the gluten-free label anymore in Canada... Is this product still gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs?

Not the same , gave my entire family stomach distress . The old recipe did not do this , the new recipe is not gluten free . I used in a taco pasta dish and the crumbles looked like and had the texture of rice , almost like it had thawed and been refrozen.

Not Good Ingredients
I like vegetable broth which is what this seems to be. To make it flavored, yeast extract was added which is unnecessary unless you want to give it flavor and there is none. Then sugar is added and canola oil which neither of these things do I want in my broth, vegetable or beef broth which there is nothing in this to make it taste like beef broth. I am going to stick with Pacific Brand. None finer.

I wanted to try and make tacos so i got this… i won’t lie mid cooking i was pretty scared it was sloppy joe material and grossed me out. It genuinely taste like a normal taco i couldn’t believe it. I didn’t have high hopes because i’ve tried this brands meatballs and almost threw up. But this was amazing i had 3 tacos!
