For reference, I'm 170 lbs and this needed a little bit of wiggling to get through some roots. I did not stomp or jump on it. It seems to be fairly sturdy and does the job.

It also works well for digging up grasses in other areas. It has a sturdy handle & it’s a great length. It seems like it will last a long time. It’s exactly what I needed since I’m taking a grassy area & going to be putting stepping stones down. This will help to edge around the stones while also getting rid of grass in other areas I don’t need it.

If the ground is soft enough kids can even use it (and they had a lot of fun helping with the yard work!). It is super lightweight and makes my job getting a nice clean edge between the grass and concrete very simple. I have an electric edger, but often find that this handheld one is a lot easier and quicker to just get the job done without getting a bunch of equipment out.

Liked that the handle was longer than a typical edger, ergonomic and meant that you didn’t have to stoop or hunch the back. Well made and strongly put together.

The wide step area on it was much more comfortable than trying to use the small area of a shovel. The depth is perfect for putting in a landscaping plastic border.

I find it versatile enough to create new landscape beds. It's lightweight, but sturdy. The blade is strong enough to cut through stubborn weed roots.

Its not as easy as a motorized one, but if you have just a driveway to do it would be totally appropriate. I gave it 3 stars because it is a lot of work but it is acceptable. This edger is very simplistic and gets points for that.
