A: You can water seedlings through the Summer Weight Fabric, if that's what you're asking. If you are thinking about moistening the fabric and laying it directly on the ground to keep the soil wet, no, we do not recommend doing that.

I bought this to cover some new flowers that were planted in a location that gets the full midday & afternoon sun and didn't look too good. I'm hoping to shade the flowers to keep them alive and transplant someplace else in the fall. This fabric gave me plenty of material to work with and I cut it to the size I wanted. I have it clamped onto fiberglass driveway snow stakes and the fabric has held up very well to some strong rain and wind. The flowers are looking greener again with more leaves.

Easy to use and versatile. Have had difficulty finding cheesecloth so I tried this instead. Not as strong as cheesecloth to cover my blueberries,but it does the trick.

The only problems I have had with this product is in windy locations. Hoops and earth staples help. Also, it says it is reusable, but it gets very dirty and tears easily after it is wet. You can maybe get 2 seasons out of it. I see professional growers using miles of this to protect their crops, speed germination, and extend their season.

It's great at keeping deer and rabbits from eating our veggies! It keeps insects away. We use it in Spring and in early Fall crops. Works great.

Fabric works great to keep Japanese beetles and moths out of my herb garden. Unfortunately, it raises the temp. Using the same thermometer, it was 98 degrees outside and 110 degrees under the fabric.

This is not the pressed fiber cloth as seen in photo. It is China trash and looks like it will melt in the sun.
