Our deep-seat kneeler has far superior kneeling and sitting pads, compared to our competitors'. The extra-wide base makes it much more stable than narrower models, with sturdy sides that lock in place so you can raise and lower yourself with confidence. Easily flips from kneeler to padded bench. Sides fold in for compact storage. Holds up to 250 lbs. Weighs just 9 pounds, so it's easy to carry. Important Note: This kneeler is compatible with the Deep-Seat Kneeler Tool Pouch (38-577) . It is not compatible with the Standard Kneeler Tool Pouch (34-315).

A: The frame of the Deep Seat Kneeler is metal and the cushion is foam. To close the kneeler, there is a bar with springs on it that needs to be depressed before the legs can be folded inward.

Not as good as the ones they sold years ago
I'm currently adding more padding because this is not cushy like the one I have from earlier years. I still have that one but it's at my summer home so when I use the new one here, just doesn't work as well. It's not as sturdy as the old one either. Wish they would have kept this at the quality it once was.

I love the purple and on the very first use trimming the lavenders along my paver walkway, it started to scratch off. A clear plastic coating or clear bumper would have been appreciated.

Disappointed
At first this kneeler was great! Two years later it is rusted, the cushion keeps falling off and is difficult to fold up.

Couldn't do without this both outside & inside.
I have one for inside to clean bottom cabinets & floors. The one I use for outside the wood finally rotted where I had replaced screws to hold in place after years & years & years of safe use. I could not be without two to help me get up.

Just bought the deep seat garden kneeler, haven't used it but once, and one of the pads have become " de- glued". Wished I would have read the comments before I ordered it! Product seems to have problems. All the other items I have bought have been wonderful 👍

I don't think I will buy this product again.
I think a better glue should be used to hold on the foam the knees rest on.

Love this product, buying my third one
I bought my first one many years ago. I'm glad to find the product still affordable. I've mistreated them by leaving them out in the elements and they've held up well for years although they do rust. The first one eventually broke. I destroyed the second one last week by running into it with my car in the driveway when I was confused by 98-degree heat. That one was blue; I'm looking forward to having another purple one!

Not sturdy enough
I've had two of the larger garden kneelers now. Both have had the same issue. The welds do not hold, the metal fatigue causes the support "legs" to collapse if not used on absolutely level ground. If I could fix this, I would, but I'm afraid that that the metal at the weld sites isn't strong enough to do this. A redesign is needed.

Exercise machine?
It's beautiful in purple, sturdy, and I managed to unfold it but it is soooo stiff that I can't refold the sides in, which was the point so it could be stored. Not sure what to do. WD40?

We have sent you an email with the information. You will see two handles to the right and left of the seat pad. Squeeze the inner bar of the handle to compress the springs. This will disengage the locking pins on the legs letting you fold them closed. To open the legs simply fold them back up until you hear them lock into position.

I would not buy this product again
Please find a way to make sure the seat stays on. It came apart and there was no way to fix it. It was only glued on.

Only if they added an adjustment, half way between the two
My wife loved it for kneeling but the seat was too high when she wanted to sit down and bend over. It needs one more adjustment, halfway in between the low and high levels. We returned the one we bought

Foam pads came off after a year
I had this on my Christmas list two years ago. Very disappointed that it's fallen apart already. The metal framework is intact but both foam pads have fallen off.

I would NOT buy this product!
Kneeler cushion used to be screwed, now just poorly glued. Seat of prior kneeler became powder after many years. Current product didn't last a month.

Soft seat peeled off after 1 month!
I loved this seat until the soft seat came unglued. Bummer! The pad on the other side its still attached so far.

Kneeler Disappoints
The middle section is cheap plywood and rotted and broke in 6 months. I fixed it by putting a maple section, sealed and spar urethaned, to replace it. Do not but if plywood center as once it rains it is done for. Also the springs are small and do not expect them to last. Concept good but cheap build.

Frame bent under me
Was using this in its seat form (rather than the kneeler) and it started to list under me. I thought maybe I hadn't successfully locked the leg in place but, rather, the frame itself was bending under me. I am well under the stated weight limit for this product. Disappointing. I have only had this for two months.

Useful but came apart.
Had the seat about 3 months and the seat cushion came off. Looks like it was glued. Did not leave it in the weather outside. Finally just wrapped a Velcro staple around each side to hold cushion on but not comfortable on knees because of that.

A game changer!!!
This was best purchase I made all year and am buying two more for my sisters. It's compact and easy to stood. The cushion for knees is heavenly. The hand rails to help up from kneel Devine. Turning it upside down to be low seat is so handy. I use this indoors and out for any chore requiring bend or kneel
