A few years ago I planted some hardy mums on a lark, figuring they would die over the winter. They did not, they are so healthy that they get top heavy. The cages keep them mostly round.

I wish the stickers to identify the legs was at the bottom so they would get buried in the dirt. They are a little hard to get off. Very small annoyance.

Love how it looks. Sadly the finial for the top was not threaded so I had to find a nut to fit on the top instead. The size was difficult to match; couldn't find a decorative finial to replace it which was unfortunate and the reason I couldn't give this 5 stars. The rest of it is beautiful and it is easy to put together once you have something for the top to hold it all together. It looks great around my peony and keeps it from falling over. Because of its size, it holds some of the plants at the base of the peony as well. Aside from the finial problem, I love the product. The bronzed look is perfect.

I used the 36" size to prop up a section of my spiderwort plants. (They grow long and leggy and previously just toppled over.) This cage is a lovely addition to my garden, and showcases these flowers beautifully. The spiderwort are now a focal point in my garden, rather than looking like a mistake. I will order more of these as they are really lovely in my garden, and will work as both purely decorative, and functional.

This cage is attractive and easy to assemble. Wish it came in a taller size. My larger peony plants are falling over the sides and top. I would definitely buy a taller one if it was available. The smaller one works great on my smaller peony plants.

I'm using these to keep the dogs out of my itoh peonies. I wish I had ordered at least 4 more. I have both sizes and prefer the larger size 36". They were much nicer to look at over winter that the tomato cages I usually put up. The smaller ones 24" would be adorable over a patch of bulbs, or in a large planter, but are a little too small for the garden.
