HRM is good, but not support
I had an issue with the documentation. I bought it through my company’s bank account, but Garmin support said that I forgot to mention it was a company purchase, so they issued the invoice to me as an individual. I asked to change the invoice details, but the support team said the only way to correct it was to return the product and buy it again with a different name on the invoice. That’s nonsense...

Flawed Design
I agree with a lot of the reviews I now read. The point of a rechargeable HRM in my mind was to make it easier to charge and/or prevent throwing away the coin cells. I cannot get past being unable to detach the monitor from strap. I'm wondering if I am going to break it when I need to give it the first charge, as it certainly seems that way when I tried to remove it.

Comfy and Easy!
Easy to set up and connect to my Edge! The battery life is great and I love that I can just use the watch charger to power it back up!

good
battery has been dropping about 10% per hour of use, not the long term potential that is advertised. the additional metrics are enjoyable for me such as left and right balance, spikes of heart rate on anaerobic activities otherwise not observed by optical sensor, and running economy.

Simply elegant
Great product, easy to use and very reliable data. The only concern is at the first 2-3 uses, the device is really tight to the strap creating a difficulty to pull away from it and causing a perceived notion that it might break by pulling. After a few uses it comes off easily.

Broke Before I Could Even Use It
The snap-on buckles broke before I could even track a workout, right out of the box. This is a known issue and it's just poor quality control.

Band stuck
Charge it before you attache it to the band. I’m still not able to remove it after attaching it. After multiple attempts and different people trying I have the impression that it’s going to end up breaking once removed.

Excellent heart rate monitor with a serious flaw
The monitoring capabilities are perfect, for me it works flawlessly. The flaw of the device is the way it mounts on the strap. It needs considerably amount of strength that may damage the pins holding the connector in place, many people report broken ones from the 1st usage. In my case, i was lucky so far but i can definitely understand what they mean, if you try to remove it with the necessary force it can absolutely damage the connectors.

Has great features but some issues
I've had it for a month, i love the fact you can use it wout your phone, but wish you could start and stop it from the hr monitor not the phone, only issue i have is that when using it on a run, it has a tendency to put you at your step goal for the day without even finishing a work out. It being rechargeable and removable is a plus. Happy with the purchase.

A great upgrade
I got the HRM 600 to replace my HRM Pro that ended its life. I have used the 600 for a couple of weeks now and it has worked without issue. I really appreciate the replaceable strap and I am happy I can charge this unit. I no longer need to replace the battery. The fit and finish is perfect and I would highly recommend this product.

Superior monitor with lots of useful data
The HRM 600 is an excellent monitor but it's the data it offers that make it so useful. The information helps you to adjust your workouts and to see measurable progress. It's allowing me to really get my workouts to build toward my race day with very little trouble. I would recommend this HRM to anyone serious about training or wanting to understand more of what their body is doing.

Deattaching sensor is very difficult
Hello all, Honestly saying I am disappointed. Premium level HRM monitor with old fashion sensor fixing solution. Also, deattaching of sensor isn’t easy job. I almost damaged my nail and finger start bleeding. Fixing parts on strap slightly bent. It’s not written in instruction that sensor shall be deattached with any supporting tools. First impression was very negative and I was really disappointed that top cost product has such quality. You shall challenge your engineers to deliver better solutions

I'm sorry to hear that was troubling to remove the sensor. I've linked instructions below for removal of it in order to charge it. http://ms.spr.ly/6428sOTzu If you need further assistance you can contact us at 800-800-1020 Monday through Friday 7a-7p CST.

Works great
I had to replace an older model that quit after many years. You get much more data from this than the wrist monitor on the 965. Glad I got the new one

Design Flaw
How can you build such a weak-minded closure? A mad product, rechargeable and a fastening system that every three-year-old can do better. You almost have to destroy the belt to get the sensor off. Sorry, but every competitor is just miles better. And why can you only record certain sports with Girt and e.g. no walking, hiking, etc. And the price is not justifiable.

Strap connection point broke the first use!
The connection point between the HRM and strap are poorly manufactured. The fit is too tight and very difficult to remove. Ended up breaking trying to separate the strap and the HRM. Wish I read online reviews first as lots of people are having this problem.

Comfortable, accurate
Bought this last month, took me a few runs to remember to put it on. Once that habit was developed, I noticed much more accurate and stable readings when connected to my Fenix 8. Highly recommended, I'll be buying my wife one as well.
