[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easiest set up possible and have enough battery power to mow, weed, and blow entire lawn. Powerful enough for regular grass that has not been cut in a few weeks which is all I need. Assembly was also very easy all in all took less than 10 minutes to have all the tools running.
Only good for small yards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great price for combo lawnmower set. After I bought it, I realized that it had only 2 batteries that only last for 30 minutes of usage. So I have to buy 2 more batteries and still have to wait for charging it. So task don't complete in one straight settings.. good for small yards..

The batteries suck. Imagine cutting your grass and 25 minutes into it, the battery does and you have to wait 30 minutes for the batteries to cool down. And then almost three hours for it to charge again. And then repeat the process again.

Hello Donald D. We are sorry to hear that the included 24V battery runtime does not meet your expectations. As we are not sure of the condition of your lawn, we are not exactly sure why the battery did not meet your expectations. The maximum runtime often applies to a flat, open yard. Slopes and obstacles require more power, and users can expect running time to be less, if this is the case. Runtime measurements are also related to the condition of the grass and if it is well-maintained. Tall, thick grass requires more power, and you must mow it slower, consuming added runtime. Here are a few tips to ensure the max runtime is achieved. Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage, consider buying a second battery for larger lawns, mow in a straight line. If the grass has been left to exceed 4 inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help! not gonna lie the product is put together very cheap. i bought the 3 piece combo kit went to use it for the first time yesterday and the arms on the lower are broken and won't stay in the correct position bc the little piece that holds it on the side broke doesn't even thread into the piece. broke while pushing it and now just flops everywhere and can't use it. the weed eater doesn't even lock into place and just shuts off every five minutes. very poor product just stick to gas

Hello Robert31245, Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the 3-piece combo kit. We understand how disappointing it is to encounter issues right out of the box—especially with the mower arms not staying in place and the trimmer shutting off unexpectedly. That’s certainly not the experience we want for our valued customers. Please contact support at 1-888-909-6757 or through chats directly on our website. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention—we’d appreciate the opportunity to turn things around.

Bought this about two years and I absolutely hate it. The batteries die way to quickly. The leaf blower only lasts 5 minutes, the mower does in 10 to 15 minutes. The only thing I think I like is the weed eater. Not worth the money in my opinion. Thought this would work best for a yard that is small, but nope. If I could return my set I absolutely would.

Hello Guest85. We are sorry to hear the unit has not fully met your expectations. Runtimes can vary depending. Trimmer, run-times vary based on grass conditions and operator’s technique and blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Mower runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to grass texture and consistency, cutting height, using the self-propelled for the entire mow, and lawn size. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing additional batteries and you can view the 24V platform here, (https://www.greenworkstools.com/em-cgi/btag/collections/24-volt?uff_57w5tv_metafield%3Aattribute.accessories=Batteries%20%26%20Chargers). Each product requires two batteries to operate. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example one battery is charged 100, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). We hope this information helpful. We hope you will find this information useful. If you require any additional support or have questions regarding a product, we recommend try our Q&A section on product's page or Chat with us direct on our website www.greenworkstools. com.

Fresh out of the box not even able to cut my lawn for 15 minutes until it runs out of battery. Just enough to make you mad that you started to begin with and your yard looks worse than if you hadn’t done anything. I can only imagine the 5 Star reviews are bot reviews or people living in Barbie’s dream house sized mowing areas. Truth be told it’s a waste of money and even getting a second set of batteries won’t solve the problem as the charging time VASTLY outweighs the run time. Will be looking to return
1 reply from Greenworks team - 6 months ago
Hello RunningOnEmpty. We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the runtime you are getting. The 48v self-propelled lawn mower cuts up to 1/2 acre when using the (2) fully charged 5Ah batteries (included). The maximum advertised run time is based on no load. It is important to recognize that the Runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to if the self-propel feature is used throughout the entire cut, grass texture and consistency, cutting height, and lawn size. Please note, users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. . It is unfortunate to read that you are looking to return the unit, if you wish to address your concerns directly with one of our product specialists first, please contact us by Live Chat through the customer contact page located on our website or call Greenworks toll-free helpline at 1-888-909-6757 before returning to the store. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see whether your run time would be considered average.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with my purchase of this battery powered mower. I have been using the corded version for over 3 years and was pleased with its performance. However the purchase of an adjoining lot would mean using a very long electrical cord so I opted to buy the battery-powered version. I am very pleased with my new mower. It was very easy and quick to go from the box to using the mower The instructions for assembling were easy to follow. The first job I did was to mulch fallen leaves and the mulch cover was very useful. The battery charged quickly and lasted for the expected time. Having the second battery meant I had the job finished in a little under an hour. I am very glad I chose this mower and looking forward to many seasons of use.
