BEWARE - the dimensions in the description are incorrect
The first thing I want to mention are the dimensions. The description states it is 31.5 inches wide. It is NOT. It is 24 inches wide. So if you want a bookcase wider than 24 inches I would not recommend buying this one. I compared it with two other bookcase that were 24 inches and decided to purchase this one because it was wider. Sadly I was not at home when my niece put it together for me. So I was not going to tell her to take it apart since it took her several hours to assemble it. However the construction is very sturdy and well made and it was at a good price point. If the dimensions had been correct, I would have given it a 5 star .
